These done go through the buckle and pull tighten like some others however, still hold well and have never come off. Velcro seems good quality too.

These straps seem useless.
They have all hook on one face and all loop on the other. If you put the strap through the eyelet and pull back to get it tight, you have either hook to hook or loop to loop. It doesn't work.
