Great motor i have three which i use in scale boats up to57 " in length.

Under-rated Powerplant

If you want your plane to rev hard and go like the clappers, this motor could be for you. It is beautifully made. There are a few blokes using these on 5&6S set-ups and a tiny 7x6/7x5 apc glass props. They put 1600W in. I intend to use mine on 4s at about 1250W tpd. At 1250W the temperature of motor and esc is only warm. 60 degC, but still gives bulk thrust.

Cracking motor. I tested with a 4cell 60c 6Ah zippy, two props 0947APC & 0805MA
120A LV120 YEP esc.
0947 14.8V 80A the ESC was ~ 100 degrees C
0805 16.2V 66A the ESC was ~ 60 degrees C
Do not overload this motor or it will go poof. For example use 6S 7x5apc and it will be chewing about 1500W and only 900 of that will be in thrust the other 600W is converted to heat and will eventually set your plane on fire. don't listen to the tossers on youtube. This motor deserves careful thought and management. It will reward you nicely. P.S. use only f.g. or c.f props of a good quality because they spin at an incredible speed approaching 20 000rpm so balance everything you bolt on.
