The transmitter itself is good, but it is ridiculous that I cannot buy additional iA8 receivers. Furthermore, there seems to be a binding problem with additional receivers.

Je suis entièrement satisfait de cette télécommande, pour un prix modéré.
De plus après le renvoi de la 1ere télécommande, HobbyKing me rembourse les frais de port pour le renvoi, ainsi que les frais de douane.
Je remercie le personnel HobbyKing qui s'est occupé de mon problème.

Es una vergüenza que vendan la emisora sin advertir que no es compatible con el anterior modelo con el mismo nombre 9X y con un receptor y sin poder añadir ninguno mas , por que anula el anterior. Con un montón de fallos ya no me funciona bien con ningún receptor todas las criticas son muy malas. HK cada vez funciona peor ya asta la pagina es un lió y llevo bastantes años comprando en HK pero ay que pensarse el seguir pidiendo .Cada vez tardan mas los pedidos y el transporte DHL en España es de lo peor que hay hacen lo que quieren con los envíos. bueno creo que ya les he contado bastantes cosas espero que sirvan para algo y que mejore el envicio en general. Defective transmitter and weak product/warranty support!

I bought this transmitter less than a month ago, but I'm not happy with it since I have to bind it to the receiver every time I change from one model/plane to another. HobbyKing's Product Support claims that: ”it's a known bad batch of radios. All new batches have this problem corrected so please fill out an RMA, return the radio and all included items and we'll send a replacement.”
I can see in the previous reviews for this product that the binding problem was known several weeks before I ordered my rc system. Why did I get a defective radio from an old batch with a known problem less than one month ago??
I have asked for an immediate/advance replacement, but that has been denied.
It took two weeks in transport time to get the bad transmitter so it means that I won't have a functioning radio during at least four weeks plus HobbyKing's handling time! It's unacceptable and absolutely not in line with how a customer minded company with good product support should handle a matter like this. I'm sorry to say but I've lost my confidence in HobbyKing!!!

1. Separate switch for ailerons , elevator and rudder for dual rates.
2. software error apeared and transmitter stopped. Permanent "EEPROM error" displayed. Memory erased completely.
3.when you bind a receiver , and then bind a second receiver , you lose the bind with the first receiver.

Pro:
- funziona bene
- prezzo basso
- molto bene documentata in rete (e' una radio "storica"), con molti possibili upgrade
- facilmente modificabile mod2-mod1
- si puo' utilizzare in coppia con altra 9x in modalita' trainer/allievo tramite cavo stereo comune
Difetti:
- il ricevitore fornito non fornisce il fail safe, anche se supportato dalla radio
- schermo poco visibile (per cui ho aggiunto schermo retroilluminato)
- il mixing e' molto complesso da fare e non ben documentato in rete (o meglio troppa informazione non coerente)
- non supporta telemetria
- il commutatore maestro-allievo funziona in modo inverso all'atteso (il maestro deve tenere tirata la leva per prendere il controllo) , ma e' possibile modificare le connessioni per renderlo funzionante in modo standard

8 channel not 9 , too many pots not enough 3 way switches , separate switch for ailerons , elevator and rudder for dual rates (wtf?) , overly complicated , is supposed to have 8 model memory , this does not work , when you bind a receiver , and then bind a second receiver , you lose the bind with the first receiver . Not recommend . For a decent genuine 10 channel transmitter I recommend FLYSKY I6X.

Very responsive and solid link up. But where can you buy additional iA8 receivers??? Please I need answer !!! because i cant change it RX every time I change the model, I need three more in addition to the one that comes with the radio!
