Nice tx with a lot of good features. The 16 model memory is a bit of a misnomer. I loaded 13 models and ran out of eprom memory! After flashing it with 'Open Tx' I now have 30 model memory with ample storage. A word of warning about the special transmitter pack battery which is listed above. This battery unfortunately shuts down without warning below 10V! That cost me an expensive model, which crashed as a result of this 'Safety Protected' nonsense. I prefer to use the 2650mAh transmitter pack.

great item i swaped mine over to mode 2 in about 20min easy job, and saved some time wating for a mode 2 to come into stock,
great radio full of usefull functions and love the swappable radio system

Yes I bought this in mode 1, but later converted it to mode 2. I couldn't be more happy with this TX with the swappable modules. Thanks hobbyking, I got it on a discount sale and it works fine.

Just received my mode 1 9xr a week ago and I love it. Everything is customizable and they literally thought of every situation when making this tx. I swapped it to Mode 2 with ease as soon as I got it. It came with a manual and was in very protective packaging. I use it with a Turnigy DSSS 2.4ghz Module and a Turnigy 8ch 9x reciever and it works great. Highly Recommend.
