Hi modellers . This one get NO stars , looks great , ran for a few flights then started to cut in and out . Can't trust it so $47 down the drain . HK want me to send a video of it NOT working . Mmmm great , pointless , a mechanism to reduce the dollars they return for faulty products .

I've bought four of these now. It's a solid reliable ESC that programs nicely with the Turnigy Besc programmer. Big, solid heatsink - runs nicely cool.... Not a major criticism, but their otherwise advantageous "heavy-duty" design appears to lessen their ability to survive high G crashes when compared with "simpler", otherwise inferior types sealed in heatshrink ..... I've crashed two of these now, involving high G, vertical impacts with the ground. On both occasions the ESC looked to be undamaged but no longer worked. Both times, I found, on opening the case, that the upper circuit board, that's mounted onto the power circuit board on short, surface-mount soldered stand-off legs, had sheared away. Both ESCs were repairable with the dexterous application of a fine tip soldering iron under an illuminating magnifier & are now back in service.

I replaced a hot running esc in a 70mm F-16 with a Dr. Madd Thrust EDF and it runs a little warm. It is easily programmable from transmitter.

This is in my 3mtr fly fly fox which is perfect as I'm running it on 3300mah 5s lipol. I know that it's over kill with the ESC but I don't want any trouble. Never gets hot I recommended this ESC.

Great and simple ESC to use. Hasnt failed me yet after about 12 Flights and runs my 70mm EDF Jet cool operation I have a Hitec Telemetry system and the temp is right around 106 degrees F while in the air. And on the test stand it got to about 125 with no air cooling it but the air being brought in by the motor. Reletavely light and easy to solder comes with soldered tinned ends so adding your own battery adapter is simple and quick. Two thumbs up HK!
