Guter Motor. Aber die Welle bricht leicht. Am besten gleich eine mitbestellen.A fine motor, but I need to order a second one because mine burned today. I didn't have enough ventilation in my motorglider to keep this motor cool enough probably. It withstood about 5 flights without problems at all (got a little hot, but not extreme). But the last flight was one with a lot of wind, and I just had to keep the motor running longer then usual. Just before the end of my flight, the motor decided to end it earlier ;)Smooth and quiet, very powerful, stays fairly cool. Running on 20amp Afro ESCs in a quad setup, powered by a 4000mah 3s.Ordered 4 of these for my quad. Plenty of power with 10x4.7 props. One has a little slip in the rear bearing and I am going to address that. The prop adapters included are nice, but I wish they came with spinner style instead of just a washer and nut. It works fine as is though. Great motor of the price , and I will update this when I find out the thread of the prop adapter.I am happy with these motors I purchased for my new Hexacopter however one of the motors bearings appears to be broken or bad. And as a result is very stiff to spin so I will probably have to discard the motor and hopefully HK will provide some support.Beautiful motor, I have used 4 in my Quadrocopter. It flies better than I expected. The frame is a X550, the flight controller is the Ardu FC, the battery a 3S NanoTech and the propellers cut-down to 8 inch diameter 10X4.7 slow fly props. All this from HobbyKing the only non HK items are SimonK ESCs. In summary it flies as smooth as a custard sandwich! I have found that the best prop size for 3S batteries are 8 inch props, and I have also found the cut-down ones perform better than purpose made ones for QuadrocoptersI bought one of these to test them for my upcoming quad project. The quality overall seems very good. All parts are well machined and with a clean finish. Tested it with a watt meter, no load current at full throttle is around 680 ma. Tested with a 10x4.5 prop at full throttle pulls 14.7 amps and after ten seconds motor got hot.I think a 9 inch prop would be ideal for it. It was quiet while running, no strange noises. Without prop it seems well balanced.
I opened it to inspect the bearings, add I've heard that they do make problems sometimes. I found the bearings to be in very good condition and ideally oiled , running smooth. Magnets are perfectly aligned using a machined aluminium guide. Not just glued on the bell. Photos in the files section.
I only have two minor complaints from this motor, first, the clip on prop adapter was bigger than the shaft so it never really holds on to it. Second, the mount screws and bolt on adapter screws seem to be made of aluminum, they are soft and will easily strip if tightened. I suggest using a thread lock to keep the screws in placeBought 4 of these for a tricopter(one is a spare if I dork it). All are balanced well.
Flying on 3 cells 3000mah about 6-8 minutes flying time
Props are 8 x4.5 both 2 and 3 bladed setups
Motors are only warm after flying around.
They don't have a ton of power, but more than enough for this application.
Another note is my tricopter has almost no motor noise, just props.
I like really quiet things so I can fly at night in my front yard.
It does have enough power to lift a gopro camera.

Two quads and a y6 multicopter all running these motors means I can keep costs down. One thing I have found is that the one of the 3 screw holes in the motor can for rear mounting the prop shaft fitting are threaded, which makes them doa for my purposes.
I am running 10x4.5's and 8.5x6's with heat mostly around the 55C mark.
