1st motor fried after 1 1/2 flights. This is my second one.

This motor provides high performance, but could do better in the enamel used on the copper windings. I took this second one apart and soaked the windings in high temperature enamel and allowed it to cure and this motor performs as it should and reliably. I fly this motor on a 55” flying wing and it does close to 100mph on level flight on a 2200 mah 4s 50c LiPo, APC 9x6 Nitro prop.

It must have been a defective one... it gave up after 2 1/2 flights

I installed this motor seeing that it worked really nicely on other people’s wings, but I only got 2 1/2 flights before it gave up and shorted in the windings and took out my ESC too. I had to reinstall my original motor and another ESC I had in my parts bin to get my wing flying again. I may try another motor again later but I will wait a while.

Poor quality - prop adaptor doesn't fit

The holes in the prop adaptor do not line up with the holes in the motor.
Looking at previous reviews this has been a problem for a long time.
I had to file the holes oval to get the bolts to fit
