Turnigy batteries are known the world over for performance, reliability, and price. It’s no surprise to us that Turnigy Lipoly packs are the go-to pack for those in the know. Turnigy batteries deliver the full rated capacity at a price everyone can afford.

Turnigy batteries are equipped with heavy-duty discharge leads to minimize resistance and sustain high current loads. Turnigy batteries stand up to the punishing extremes of aerobatic flight and RC vehicles. Each pack is equipped with XT-60 connectors and JST-XH style balance connectors. All Turnigy Lipoly batteries packs are assembled using IR matched cells.

Before making a battery purchase, there are a few things you need to consider. Firstly, what are you powering? The type of hobby vehicle you are powering will determine whether you use a soft battery pack or a hardcase battery pack. For example, if you’re flying an RC Plane or Multirotor Drone, you would normally use a soft Lipo pack. However, if you’re using an RC Car a Hardcase battery pack will prevent the battery from being pierced if you crash.

Secondly, it's important to know what battery capacity (mAh) you need, the cells count (S) and the optimal discharge rate (C rating). This will also be determined by the vehicle you are using the battery for.

This shipment of my regular batteries arrived with only 15-20% charge .

I have ordered these batteries many times from Hobby King and have had excellent results. However, in my most recent order for four batteries, two arrived with 20% charge, one had 16% charge and one had 15% charge (instead of the 30% charge stated on the shipping documents). They did not hold their charge as well as previous shipments of the same model battery.

Too Soon to Tell

The new pack hasn't been flown yet. I bought it as a backup for an identical battery I began flying in 2021. It still works fine but is slowly slowly swelling. The battery compartment on the model it powers is pretty tight. No easy way to enlarge it so when the old battery won't fit any more the new will go into service. The plane is my most frequently flown one. Ten years of service. Not bad!
