Mounted on a 50 cc p47, one of the retracts sounds rare and not working fine, disassemble and there's only one bearing instead 2, that results in a motor broken, taking the third motor as replacement.
Maybe buy another to have spare parts, but are very delicate

Found the problem the main cog coming from the motor is made of soft metal and the teeth are rounded and worn causing the gear box to slip.BS HK. What a waste of money

Totally pissed off had these in the draw for three years after checking them. Went to fit in plane and one will not lift the wheel the motor seems to be slipping. These are not cheap and i will not get a refund or replaced as I purchased them three years ago.

I have used 3 sets of these over the years. One set has over 100 flights on a 10kg turbine model without trouble. The 2nd set had one faulty unit that was replaced.
yesterday I received a new set and tested straight away. One mains opened and will not close. The nose unit operates sort of OK. Except the motor continues to run for several seconds when the unit retracts. Even very light finger pressure causes the jack screw to stop, the motor continues to turn until you remove the slight pressure when it finally retracts.
OBSERVATIONS. The motor gearbox on the current production is different than earlier units. The first ones had a unitary gearbox, these later ones have open gears enclosed in the main body of the unit. I believe the gears are slipping internally or are mis aligned,

Just received these retracts for my DHC-4 Caribou (about 20lb flying weight). Bad surprise: the nose retract does not work properly. It stops at half course. The motor seems to be defective. And now I will have th put a video on Youtube as proof the item is defective, fill out a form and wait for a replacement. This is a bummer.

Ich habe das System bei Hobbyking gekauft. Ein Fahrwerk fuhr nur mit starken Geruschen aus. Das Getriebe im inneren war nicht richtig zusammengeschraubt. Die Lagerbohrungen des Getriebes sind alle zu gro, so das sich starke Laufgerusche ergeben. Das Bugfahrwerk ist so gebaut, das ein direkter Austausch mit Beotec oder anderen bekannten Fahrwerken nicht ohne weiteres mglich ist. Man mus es tiefer setzen. Das ist in vielen Fllen aber nicht mglich. Dennoch: fr diesen Preis sucht man vergleichbares vergeblich. Und: bei 10Kg Modellgewicht und Graspiste ist das Limit wohl eher anzusetzen...

ottimo prodotto, la costruzione sembra buona - appena arrivati ho aggiunto il frenafiletti a tutte le viti in quanto lente.... funzionano egregiamente ed hanno un'ottima coppia.

These cycle smoothly and at a scale speed. They feel pretty solid. Probably best to drop the max weight they can handle by 25 or 30pcnt.
