Just done a test hover in the HK 450 v2 and the motor runs sweet and cool, smooth as a gravy sandwich! Just a bit miffed that it didn't come with the pinion though, so Four crowns.

Brought this motor as it was the only motor to have a pinion as in the UK there was no stock of any Pinon, Still in the build process but the few test i have done work flawless

Received motor in sealed box nice quality looking motor but received no mounting hard wear and i didn't get the 12t pinion that was meant to come with the motor so only the 4 stars for value and overall rating

Top value .After full 12 flights plus initial testings, flawless operation. Plenty of power using 12t align helitical pinion (to suit 3.5 shaft)/ hk slant main gear/YEP esc and 2200 3s 75c nano tech lipos = 7-8 minutes flights with plenty reserve. have to see how long the bearings will last for.

I bought one of therse motors to go with a HK450. It fitted with no problem and has plenty of power for this model. It has contributed towards my hobby now spreading into helicopters as well as planes. Thanks HobbyKing :-)

amaizing brushless... very powerfull, likes tarot 3800KV, same shaft and same power and same batt consumption.. will buy more... very recomended for 3D helicopter

This motor is lighter weight than Scorpion 4200Kv, power also good.
Once tested this motor with 12T pinion and Turnigy AE 45A Esc,
found that this motor enough power for all 3D move, can do fast side Toc too..
If scorpion 4200kv motor, run 11T and big 60A ESC. too heavy.
These pair 3700Kv and AE 45A Esc is great..
One word.... Good.. cheaper price..
