I bought 3 of these tool stands and 2 sets had to have the magnets glued to the black vertical plastic piecces. Not much work to do for a good stand. The stand is usable as received but my screwdrivers would all be scattered when the stand tips over. I modified my stands to better hold Turnigy Philips, Flat head and Hex drivers. I used a moto-tool to grind 14mm round holes centered at the small end of each v-cut of the black horizontal plastic piece. The holes allowed the tools to sit lower thus reducing the tip overs I experienced. Each tool was now secured by the handle fitting into the enlarged hole and the pull of the magnet on the shaft. To release a tool I had to lift it a little for the handle to clear the hole before pulling the shaft off the magnet. I first tried the mods on 1 stand and it worked so well I did the same for the next two. You can vary the hole size to fit the handle of different brands of drivers. I use these stands for Duratrax ultimate drivers and Integy hex drivers too. All in all this tool stand is good value for your money and keeps all your drivers neatly arranged.

great product only thing mite wanna ca glue the magnets in . you can use it without doing do ,but sometimes a magnet will pop out of you dont

What a total waste of money and plastics I pick up one tool and 2 to3 more drop off the stand I don't dare nock it I am going to redesign it so it will work properly what a waste whoever designed this needs to think again.

I love this little rack. However, even though simple concept, not one instruction, no diagram, picture, nothing. The magnets are very strong and hold the tools very well. That said, the holes to insert were to large by maybe a fraction of a mm, so the magnets would slip right through and attach to the other rail magnet, just jump right across the 2 inch gap. I had to add a little CA glue, took care of that issue, been great ever since.

Great for the price. But I think a tool-stand with some wholes to put the tools in would be more practicable than the solution with the magnets.
