placas não fusiona

Dec 02, 2021

bom dia, já que estão perguntando. comprei estas placas para substituir as placas que queimaram de uns servos de trem de pouso e infelizmente nem uma fusionou.

Great Product review unlikley to be published

Jun 02, 2021

Just what I needed, it is a shame that it took 40 days to be delivered after paying a HUGE amount for shipping ($59). Subsequent interaction with HobbyKing has yet to provide an answer to the reason for this exorbitant cost.

Follow-up: Worked as a retrofit

Nov 12, 2020

I posted a different review earlier, but now I will post some details for others, hopefully this information will be helpful!
I accidentally burned out the motor controller cards in my old Robert retracts by using a 7.4V receiver battery that was too high voltage for them. I should’ve read the manual first ... and since spare parts for those old beasts were no longer available, what to do?
After posting on some Facebook modeling sites, it was recommended I take a look at these cards as a possible retrofit. So I ordered two of them, and they were a bargain at only about five euros each. Although there is zero technical information on hobby king’s site, on my own I discovered the following:
On the back side of the cards there are two micro switches, one for interrupting the travel in each direction. They are obviously designed for embedding into hobby king brand retracts. I also discovered there is a built-in timer, non-adjustable, that stops travel after exactly 10 seconds from when the cards are activated in either direction. If this is not enough time for the full travel needed on the retracts, you have to toggle the switch briefly on your receiver to cause it to continue moving in the direction intended.
The rated maximum rated load on these cards according to hobby king is 2A. I hooked up an ampere meter to one of my retract motors, and with my 7.4 V receiver supply battery, I measured very briefly (as not to burn out the motors!) how much current is drawn when my retracts bottom out. It was a little over an amp. The retracts were well able to fully open or close in one timer cycle. To minimize the load on the cards, I proceeded to tie in at 12W power resistor, and that brought down the current to about 400mA when bottomed, yes they still had enough velocity to fully extend or retract within the 10-second timer period.
So now all I have left is to build a small box for the electronics, which I will embed in the fuselage and simply extend the power leads out to the retract motors through the wing. This will make service on the electronics much easier in the future. Now I need to buy a spare board or two!

Did the job!

Nov 10, 2020

I burned out both of my original (and old) Robart retract circuit boards by applying 7.4V instead of 5V ... :( ... and those boards can't be founbd anywhere. So, I bought two of these and installed 12 ohm 5 Watt resistor between the boards and motors, to avoid too high current drain wehen they reach endpoints, and whala! - a working retract system again. I will extend the motor cables in to the fuselage and mount the controller boards there. I will use two boards, one for each side. Cheap Solution!
NOTES: These controllers have some sort or 10-second timer and stop the motoprs after then. There are also two microswitches on the back side if you want to have switched endpoint shutoff. I presume the timer is a backup to prevent burnout in case of switch failure or if jamming occurs? Anyway, the 10 seconds is just bvarely enough for me and the resistors I put in guarantee no more than about 1M current, so I am skipping wiring in remotely mounted switches.
Thanks Hobby King!

Excellent!!!

Jun 03, 2020

Used these to repair my very expensive eFlite 90 size retracts when the crap eFlite PCB's burnt out for no apparent reason. Eflite pot the component side of their PCB's so absolutely nothing I could do to repair them :(
Took some nifty out of the box thinking and a 3D printed conversion 'carrier' for these much larger PCB's to fit but have to say works extremely well and happy with the result. Doesn't look as neat as the originals with my conversion but who cares? buried in the wing of my turbine L39 anyway.
On the whole very pleased, work flawlessly and saved me a fortune against new retracts.
