L'ho collegato al ESC HW437_V5.0_150A lo ha letto senza nessun problema , l'ho collegato al pc e si può programmare l'ESC senza nessun inceppo. Ha il software aggiornato all'ultima versione.

Advertised as related item to the HW Platinum V3, but works not with that ESC. Only as a USB adaptor. Bad information on what this box is able to do. No softwareupgrade possible. Wasted money.

Worst product ever...

First: I connected this program box to my HW 50A V3 ESC and got the message "Please upgrade software".

Second: Connected the program box to the pc and got the error "current version can not be updated. This means that it is "firmware locked" by HW.

So this, can't be used as a field programmer and can't be updated with last firmware. It's a copy of the HW program box, that actually works. Hobbyking throw this one at the bin and start selling the original product. This one is a total waste of money.

This unit was a pretty decent battery checker. I liked the read out of each cell but other then that, it was inadequate for what i needed it for. Would have been nice to have it be a little open sourced, so you could connect to computer and program any ESCs.

Nice and useful tool for programming the Hobbywing Platinum Pro V3 ESC`s with your PC. If connecting the ESC, the box only says "please update software". Got the Hobbywing USB Link Software V 3.43 and it works, but the box can`t be updated. But you can program your Platinum V3 ESC when the box is connected to your PC with this software. This box seems to be a little out-dated. A warning: the USB Linker Software 3.3 from the "FILES" tab in the international warehouse is out-dated and can crash on Windows 7 64 Bit, forcing you to restart your PC. Get the V 3.43 from the Hobbywing website, it works stable. The voltage check function works well if you want to know if your lipo battery was used or fresh charged, but the readings shows more difference than a multimeter. A pack charged and precise balanced with the iCharger 106B - Plus shows a difference of 0,04 - 0,06 volt at the balancer port. Checking with a multimeter, the difference is only 0,01 volt if there is any difference.
