Review Update: lipo does get a bit out of ballance, but it aint that bad at all for normal use. When you have the LED's on and just let the model sit there without flying around you get more out of balance. For normal flight it's just fine. Gave it 5 stars now as I like this a lot.

Be aware this will only work properly on 1 or 2cell lipos. You can use it on lipos with more cells BUT it wont monitor them and will unbalance the lipo.

Got mine and it has the same board as the version with 4 leds: PRODUCT ID: 9107000354-0 so you can easy connect 2 extra LED's like the 2 x White Add On LED Light Set. The LED's are 1W 350ma and are very bright, good visible in daylight. The connector is the only thing I don't like, it only reads the first 2 cells and a lipo gets a bit out of balance when used. but with it you will be able to connect it to any lipo you want. You can always solder a normal JST-XH connector to it for a more easy and foolproof connection.

Great product gives you Super Bright lights that are visible over several hundred meters even in bright sunlight especially if you replace the green light with white, it also flashes when the battery is getting down to minimum.

NOTE: I would recommend balance charging batteries used with this product as it does cause Cell #1 to get out of balance with the other cells if you don't.

The benefits of using it far outweighs the inconvenience of always balance charging.

I bought this for my BW260, It works great. LEDs are highly visible even in broad daylight. LED will blink faster to indicate low level battery voltage. I use this with a 3S battery by the way.

I Tested this low voltage alarm on a 3 cell li po battery and it worked fine. it has a three pin plug on it so it only monitors 2 cells i beleive. the leds started to flash rapidly when the voltage dropped to 3.8 volts . i now have it fixed to a piper cub and hope to have some long flights soon as the wheather improves.
