One our most popular cars ever, the TD10, is back. After the success of Version 1, we made a few tweaks to give our customers an even better racing experience. With new threaded shock bodies, improved balance, cooling fan bracket and more, you'll love the TD10 v2. Based on the highly successful Sakura chassis we have worked with 3Racing to bring the same great value the TD10 was famous for but with improved handling and endurance.

The TD10 v2 comes fitted with a Front Belt Stabilizer to ensure smooth belt operation even under heavy braking. We've modified the battery positioning setup to help balance and streamline the car without compromising the chassis. The improved threaded shock bodies make it much easier to be accurate when adjusting ride height or spring compression and universal drive shafts in both the front and rear are a really nice inclusion in a chassis in this price range. The new servo horns have increased rigidity to ensure more accurate steering on the track and faster steering response.The front solid axle gives the car quite an aggressive steering without compromising on braking.

In the box, you will also find a set of white 5 spoke wheels and 35o slick tires with medium density foam inserts that are ideal for most surfaces and will get you running straight away. The included 48 pitch 85 tooth spur gear with the stock 2:1 transmission ratio would suit motors between 10.5T to 17.5T, we did run it with a 21.5T motor using a 32T pinion, which was the largest we could fit, and it would definitely be fast enough for a novice racer, but more experienced drivers will need a smaller spur gear.

The kit has an excellent manual that is very easy to follow making the overall build very satisfying. This is a perfect kit for anyone doing their first build as it not only gives you clear bag-by-bag guidance, it also has a lot of tips to help you along the way. If you are a first timer you would probably get this finished in around 10-12 hours, more experienced builders will complete it in around 6-8 hours; so it's a perfect rainy or snowed in weekend project.

Complying with most race standards, this touring car is a competitive racer for hobbyists of all skill levels.

So whether you are a novice racer, someone who wants to chase their buddies on tennis courts or an experienced racer who wants to show how you can beat the high-end cars with a kit that costs a fifth of theirs you can take on the TD10 v2 and feel the difference for yourself.

GREAT except shock bodies

This car builds and runs like a high performance kit that costs over 3 times the price. It was pretty fun to see the Associated and Xray guys scratching their heads when I told them what car I was running. However, after running a full race on it I cannot adjust the shock collars at all. The threads in the shock bodies are completely stripped out. I would suggest buying this car along with a better set of shocks. It will still be a steal at that price.

This has to be one of the best $ Values out there. The detail and exceptional fit and finish are as good as I've seen in other kits. If you have enough spare parts to bring this kit together (motor, esc, body receiver.) it's a steal. For an assy manual see the Sakurs sport xi at

Хорошее шасси за свои деньги. Надежность проверим в ходе заездов. Расстроило качество пластика использованного для колесных хексов. Один развалился сразу после установки, очень хрупкий одним словом Дерьмо. Заменить их на алюминий и будет ОК.

This kit needs better screws

After about 9 stripped screws I have it all togeather now, very nice chassis once fully built but I would recomend picking up a better screw set before bulding this kit, especially for the rear gear diff. Too nice of a kit to have weak screws.

The Turnigy TD10 comes well packaged and features an easy to follow manual. The kit feels more like a high end kit rather than an entry level car. As with any kit there are a couple of things to upgrade if you want to race the car but, if you are just using for fun the kit is more than capable. Fantastic kit at an amazing price.

An absolute steal!

I might not have a lot of experience about onroad cars, but I'm very happy with this kit. It is insanely good value for money. Building it felt like working with a quality kit, and it drives well.
I feel there are two weak points:
- As the other have mentioned, the plastic shock bodies. I didn't break them, but the top cap kept popping off the threads. This could cause leaking and in the long term possibly durability problems. My recommendation is the 3Racing product code SAK-X28A, which is aluminum shock bodies that are a direct replacement for the plastic bodies.
- Had difficulty with the diff. The screws are hard to get in. It feels as though the head is not exactly the hex size it should be for the screws, and also the holes for the screws aren't properly threaded and thus insanely tight. If you have a tool for threading plastic holes, that'd probably help. Maybe use some aftermarket screws. It's also suggested to use some grease or green slime on the gasket of the diff to prevent leaks.
Other than those things, I bought aluminum steering links (3Racing product code SAK-U113/PK/V2) and the stabilizers (you need SAK-U316 & SAK-U317). For about 110€ total I have a very good starter chassis for onroad racing, and even those upgrades are entirely optional. I bought a second kit from a sale to use as spare parts - the most cost effective way for spares for this kit, after all you get a set of tires too (which are pretty decent, by the way)!

Le plastic est de bonne facture la visserie beaucoup moins mais au vue du prix proposé pour ce kit ça reste très raisonnable résiste très bien a un esc de 120A en 3s avec moteur de 5300kv autant dire que ça envoie du lourd :)

Considering that it arrived to my door for less that $100CND, my expectations were not high. However I was pleasantly surprised, this is a quality kit. My only complaint is the shock bodies. Of course they are plastic, very thin walled and one was stripped. HK's support is awesome. Quickly resolved the issue. Very helpful and courteous. Hindsight being 20/20, I would have paid more for the kit if they were included or bought the aluminum shock bodies at the time of purchase, had I known. Overall, very satisfied
