This is a new type starter shaft with 8mm OD and no e-clip needed. The old version has 6mm OD with e-clip slot. With this new starter shaft you are no longer can use the old clutch with 6mm ID ( or Thunder Tiger 30/50 type=6mm ID) Instead purchase a TZ-V2 .50-TT - Clutch (8mm ID). Hope this helps.
