I have one of this Quads, and have a problem, too. It cant gain GPS lock I left it powered more than 20 minutes trying to take GPS signal, but all the time remain green and red lights flashing. I can not get the GPS indicates all ok and able to fly with this function !!! It flies very well in free mode, but I cant do that in GPS mode.
Any suggestion or idea ?

I would have given an overall rating of five crowns the camera did not work and I had to return it to hobby King, thinking I would get another camera so for no luck.
The X280 works perfect. I have absolutely no complaints my neighbor spent $1100 and it works no better than mine that I received for $225. The return to home switch push button takeoff and landing, and headlock switch all work as they are supposed to.The gimbal and action camera that I bought to replace the defective one I'm getting some good video of the neighborhood. This was my first quad copter. I have no problem recommending it to others.

I was pleasantly surprised. I own a whole fleet of quads, its my thing, and even though I have spent way more money on others, I often pick up cheaper versions like this just for fun. The X380 just works as it says, the GPS lock in is first rate and stability is great. RTH works as well as other higher end birds, Naza & Blade, within 5sqft. Flies for over 20 minutes and the motors dont even get warm !!
I've spent more money of quads whish are not as good as this, I thoroughly recommend this one !!!

Just received today. Went through about 2 1/2 charge cycles. It seems to be a very stable fun quad. Not real fast but its not a racer. If you are looking for a camera platform and something stable that will hands off position hold and return to home it seems to do great so far. You can fly and just let go of the sticks and they will auto center and the quad will stop and hover. The only multi-rotor pack that matches the measurement of the pack that comes with it is HK part #912700016-0, this pack is a 3S 10C Constant 20C Peak pack. The factory pack is a 3S and just labeled 20C. I emailed HK to verify they a the same and will have to wait for a reply. Will Update when I find out. But that is the only pack I could find in the East warehouse that matched size and it was made specifically for multirotor and is in the multirotor section. Just wanted to mention incase you wanted to order a extra pack or two. Good luck and have fun - so far the quad has done as advertised and I will update if things change.
