This charger has a built-in self-destruct sequence. Just tell it to charge a 6S battery at 6A, and it will melt.

Why does a charger with an 80W limit let you tell it to charge at 150W?

Great charger extremely easy to use I'm a beginner and had no problems using it. Works great apart from it overheating when I charged two batteries after each other and there was a bit of smoke so I suggest using a fan or some other cooling device

just bought, after a first turn the AC/DC power supply is broken, poor quality, fortunately hobby king is a serious factory and has refunded me.

my charger doesn't work with 2 cell, when I hold in the Start button and it goes back to the start mode turns off. i have the chek all set up and is fine it works whith 3 cell but it helps a little when I bought for car 2 cell batteries.. it bad HK not give you new product when you got one like this :-(

I just received my charger
During first lipo charge, the power supply stopped working and is definitely dead although i charged slowly my lipo pack
So bad luck or bad quality ?

I bought one of these chargers, liking the versatility of 12v and ac charging. It worked great so I ordered a second. The built in power supply on the second unit does not work, and needs to be used on 12v or with an external power supply. The original chargers internal power supply also broke down shortly thereafter. Nice idea, but poor quality!

This is a nice cheap charger. Im charging my 2s zippy hardcase and my 3s zippy softcase with this charger. I will not recommend charging with more than 4A. It gets pretty hot. Overall, a very good charger for the price. My 3s is at 4.21, 4.21, 4.22 and my 2s is at 4.19, 4.20. So buy this product! Thanks HK, this charger is more than good enough for me. :)
