A bit disappointed on the overall quality, well it's only 90 bucks, so can't expect more. Main wing doesn't have CF bar reinforcement, and it's bent. Had to use some tape to make it straight. Super easy to hand launch, flies okay with stock fan and 3S battery, not fast, good for beginners.

Easy to assemble. First flight and the sound was great!
Also the landing was no problem. I used a Turnigy nano-tech 850mah 3S 25~40C Lipo Pack and an OrangeRX RX3S.

I am using a 1000 ma 3s nano tech and 1000 ma 3s Zippy compact. Both fit perfect in this plane. The only thing I did add was a small round strip of CG in the most forward panel line on the underside of the wing. That I find helps with wing flex. 3 to 4 min flight time
D/R set up , 100pcnt on high and 60pcnt on low. I fly all the time on low rates. I also use a foot release bungee launch and it looks amazing in the air. Not the fastest but nice looker.
(PS) keep is close as the blue blue top bottom it makes it hard to see on a cloudy day

This is NOT a beginner model... I'm quite experienced with slow flyers and multi rotors but this thing is too fast for me. It is small and easily lost. It nearly is a perfect cross so orientation is difficult in the air.

The quality is correct, you get what you pay for. Fun gift for and experienced pilot.

Good stock component but model very hard to launch for take off.
Fly well with a 1300 3S and 10 grams on the tail.
Not for beginner!!

Mine arrived last week & it is a pretty little thing & very good quality for the price. No instructions are supplied although it is very simple to assemble but an indication of the centre of gravity would have been a huge help as I was to find out. I used a Nano Tech 850ma 25-40c lipo & placed it about an inch (25mm) in front of the rear wall of the compartment thinking it was balanced properly but the maiden flight almost instantly ended in disaster as the model was very nose heavy & needed almost full up elevator to avoid nosing into the ground. The power in the little motor/fan unit is substantial & aided in the avoidance of a crash but it did get airborne & I did a small circuit & immediately landed & moved the lipo back till it was touching the rear of the compartment wall, relaunched & she flew perfectly with a surprising performance & a lot of noise! I flew mine with the optional tip tanks plugged into the wings as it looks great & also helps greatly with orientation. The general opinion of the fellow club members was that the plane is extremely light & pretty well finished but above all EXCELLENT value for money. Don't expect vertical climb performance but it performs aerobatics with ease & is easy to land.

Ok to start out with I had to use tape to hold the body together due to the screws not being long enough for the slots they entered. First flight went well with no problems. Second flight...not so much...the elevator servo decided it wanted to EPIC FAIL and waddle forward and back causing sway throughout the flight...I noticed this and brought it in for landing...The servo had other ideas...It locked completly in a down elevator position and nose dived into the ground...upon inspection it was still locked while all other servos worked. Through three flights the same situation. Complete body overhaul and servo replacement...HOORAH no elevator servo problem...BUT WAIT!! aileron servos are done now. Horrific clicking sound on right wing...Not even going to attempt fix just gonna put this on the chopping block for replacement parts...decals were off center and motor grinds the internals...Let alone the fact its one of the only ones using bannana plugs on hobby king that I have seen ( I despise these plugs due to the easy disconnect during flight or rough landings). I have gotten A LOT of planes from hobbyking and this is the first SUPER dissapointment. I will stick to durafly from now on.
