here is an test for this. Im happy good range and vid. kvalityRanges from ~ 900 meters are possible, one or another test to follow even more than 1000 meters.
The built-in microphone I feel themselves to be too low, and the suppression could be a little better, but still well done.
Several dealers offer the same receiver for ~ $ 35. There are two versions, the 12 volt version, and a 5 volt version. This offered here is the 5 volt version. Ordered 2 of these. One arrived with a damaged paperbox and a broken coil on the transmitter, unit was dead on arrival.
The 2nd unit works great, good video quality and good range for FPV flying.

Not only that, but it is good to keep the video frequency higher than the control frequency, so that you will get a 'warning' of flying out of LOS before your control failsafe kicks in. It's easier to fly through a fuzzy video than to go walkies for a model that flew out of 2.4 line of sight.
Stock this setup is good for 500m range, with a nice patch it has been tested to 1.5km. Long range isn't everything. For Aerial photography downlink it is ideal, since this is not a long range exercise.Very good transmitter and receiver, but 500mw would be better.
Antenna connector come loose, add heat shrink sleeve at the base of the antenna and they are ok. Good for visual range distance, not long range flight.
I use it to retransmit the video from my Antenna base mount on tripod. I transmit from the plane to the tripod at 900mhz and retransmit from the tripod to my headset at 5.8Ghz. No more cable between the tripod and my headset.

Will rate it 5-***** but not going to buy It, because 200 mw not enough for meh.
Will wait for 1000+ mw and some HD cameras/goggles with the awesome results are guaranteed.
