General approch of the plane, ok.
But bad construction, and poor overall gluing, too bad...
It arrived canopy completely destroyed and fuselage bad built and damaged, too bad also...
I am disapointed about this purchase.

Die Haubenbefestigung ist vorn nicht gut gemacht. Die Verklebung der Kabinenhaube ist an einigen Stellen mangelhaft. Die Cowling passt auch nicht so recht auf den Rumpf. Die in der Anleitung dargestellten Bauteile wichen von den beiliegenden Teilen ab. Ich habe einen Hacker 50-12L V3 mit einer 17x10 Menz eingebaut,6S 5000mAh. Die angegebenen Servos sind zu schwer und M3 Ruderstangen etwas berdimensioniert. Es liee sich einiges noch an Gewicht sparen. Trotz dem fliegt das Teil prima, sehr langsam ist einfach zu landen. Nur im Messerflug ist arg am Hhenruder zu arbeiten.

As per Matthew's review, this is a really nice plane and I am impressed with the quality. It appears to be a good quality clone of the Vyper 65". The fiberglass cowl and wheel pants are nice and strong. The only issue I have had is with damaged kits. The first one arrived with cracks in the hatch/canopy. I submitted a warranty claim and had to return the whole kit, which was a pain. HK could not ship a replacement part. HK did pay for return freight. Now the replacement also has a broken canopy/hatch again! I have lodged another warranty claim but I don't want to wait another 3 months for a replacement.... :(

great plane brilliant accessory packs that come with it. few little niggles that any one can over come ( holes the wrong size)but hey it should be a 300 artf. im using a sk3 50-55 430kv delux 100a and 6s giving 1180 watts on 17x4 and 1700 watts on 18x6. which is enough to rip the wings off.

voa muito bem, porem cabos de ao para o leme so pequenos, tive que cortar o profundor pois tinha conflitos entre os links de profundor e leme, e tambem porque o leme batia no profundor assim tinha muito pouco comando, o eixo para o trem de pouso e bequilha era maiores do que os furos das rodinhas, a trava do canopy nao funciona, etc, etc( motor tentei 2, porem so tive resultado com scorpion, agora as baterias 35-70c, nao dao conta da descarga exigida do motor, e erstou usando um castle talon 90
....nao colequei menos estrelas porque depois de tudo arrumado o aviao top para 3D, claro, cpia do vyper da 3dhobbyshop

excellent model, just add 2 carbon fiber rods to reinforce the landing gear area (model is ready to accepth them). Very stable in pattern aerobatics as well as 3d.

beautyfull model and excellent flyer. for the manual you should download fron 3dhs website, this model is the vyper 65" to complete you need also 2pieces of 5 mm rods to reinforce landing gear area (in original model fron 3dhs they are installed, in this one no even if everything is ready to accept) and wires for the pull-pull because the ones included in the kit are too short. spinner size is in the range of 2.75" / 3" I will install a carbon fiber one from hk

Flight report. Flies very well on 6s 5300, 17x10 prop and 4325-400kv motor . Good speed for pattern flying and plenty of thrust for 3d (although I've only tried mild stuff so far). No bad habits at all and lands like a dream with that big, lightly loaded wing. I've ordered a second one as a spare.

I agree with everything already stated by Dave. I will also add to his list. The firewall had pre installed and glued t nuts. Since the motor I chose had different mounting back plate it was necessary to fabricate another mounting block - drill out access holes for the screws - and epoxied and new one. The holes are already on the bulkheads for the 5mm carbons rods on the lower section of the fuselage - I installed these and they should reenforce the landing gear as well as strengthen the forward section overall. I also added carbon rods behind the two cross braces over motor box and wing areas. I then strengthened the fuselage sides over in the wing mounting area with carbon strips on top of the plywood. When I removed the covering for the air exit venting, I re-glued all the seems.
A few other wrinkles: the pull pull cables were not long enough; I built the rudder and cable system (per 3D's instructions) only to discover that the elevator was not clearing the rudder control horns and to make matters worse the cable mounting hardware was also in the way at full throw. It was necessary to remove so wood from the elevator which I then strengthened with poly glue and fabricated a small U bracket to guide both cables closer to the fuselage. I have almost finished the built after strengthening the cowling around the mounting area. These were my issues in addition to all those Dave

Anybody who is interested in this model it is worth the money build wise very good only minor hicup is u cant use the pull pull ruder and elevator
i would recommend changing the elevator horn and moving it ou a little but other than that was easy assembly and flys like a dream running an sk3 5045 cant rember kv wise on 6s 5800 pulling 1000 watts wont climb unlimited vertical but will hover hope this helps
