I have this kit and have found it excellent value for money. The kit comes well packaged and didn't have broken or missing parts. A lot of the more complex parts are pre-assembled and do not need any reworking. I'm no aggressive 3d pilot, but this bird is flying in its stock form and fly's great and is very stable. My heli uses parts sourced exclusively from HK and if your realistic about your parts selection you will have reliable well performing heli. Cant wait for the next assault!

Bis jetzt erste Sahne. Hab ihn in UK bestellt, kam prompt. Klar, die Schrauben sind na ja... aber heute der erste Flug hat mich berzeugt. Finde ihn sogar besser als meinen "alten" 700er Rex. Allerdings kein hartes 3D.
Mal sehen, wie es weitergeht

Hallo habe den heli in England bestellt angekommen und gebaut und gepr*ft Ich mu* bis jetz sagen alle schrauben sind geklebt und auch die schrauben sind von guter qualit*t. Das Alu ist ist auch gut und die qualit*t ist f*r den preis einfach spitze. Das gewicht ist gut und ich werde ihn auf 800 kv in 6S betreiben gru*

N'ayant pas obtenu de rponse ,je l'ai command malgr tout ce que j'ai pu lire sur internet..Ben je ne suis pas du tout dcu, trs bonne finition. Il n'a pas encore vol.J'attends l'lectronique. Pour ce prix je recommande.

Recieved my Kit in good time considering it came to the US from the international wharehouse. Would have been nice to get an e-mail letting me know it was now available from the US wharehouse as I asked when it would be comming to the US wharehouse...just saying. Kit went together well, a little flashing in holes needed clearing. Plenty of extra hardware. Some damage to canopy. Over all looks great and looking forward to getting the rest of the parts to finish. Only major problem, whould have been good to know that the blades need to have a 5mm hole as the bladess I ordered have a 4mm hole (2 sets) :( don't know what I'm going to do with 2 sets of blades I can't use.

I want to update my review. First I stretched it with $30 stretch kit and I use 810mm RJX blades. For piece of mind I put Align swash but I was flying with original swash and it did not break in 20 flights. Gartt just sent me next kit with strengthened swash. So I think there was an issue but it was not critical QC issue.

I am sure Assault in stock form is flyable. I like DFC head. New black $46 700 motor 530kV is awesome. If you want low RPM use YEP 120A HV with ACTIVE Freewheel. Other regulators will get hot at low throttle curve. Experienced pilot can make it fly extremely well. New black KBar for 32-36$ at eBay does not have governor but is best bung for buck gyro today. I am extremely happy with stretched Assault. You can not find better budget 700-800 heli. For strong power setup Align mod 1.0 slant main gear and slant autorotation gear are nice because generate less noise. Front umbrella gears I have replaced with Align for 800 but for 700 Assault umbrella gears should be fine. This heli is awesome.

Good kit rite up there with big money kits. Got first run kit some problems soft metal in in tail housing striped holes fixed it with tap and die . Great kit overall !

Als Fbl-System ist ein TGZ-380 zum Einsatz. In dieser Kombi ist der Assault 700 ein Heli wo das Preis/Leistungsverhltnis noch stimmt. Die ersten Flge waren erfolgreich und mit 1800-1900 Upm hat er richtig Dampf. Die Zukunft zeigt wie er sich schlgt.
