I've bought it for my son as a birthday gift. Sadly it turned out that the speed controller is broken and I had to send it back (there were no problems with the warranty return).
As I was saying I've bought it for my son for his third(!) birthday. I gave him also FlySky gt3c transmitter and set up throttle EPA to about 20pcnt (it runs well from about 12-13pcnt). With such adjustments this car is really ease to handle and my son can drive it alone. I use 1300 mAh batteries and thanks to speed limit car can be used for about 1-1.5 h, naturally, if you use it with max speed you should expect about 15 mins of play time and is very fast (about 40-45 km/h, measured with Quanum gps logger v2). There are just two problems with this car - screws and servo saver. Before the first run you should use some loctite for every metal-metal connection because the screws (especially the grub screws) go loose after few minutes of riding. Also servo-saver need to be screwed in because if you don't do this you will have problems with turnings at higher speeds.
So if you're looking for first nice car for yourself or even for your children you should consider this option with some programmable transmitter.

The truck is great and lots of fun. There are some design issues, e.g. the diffs don't mesh well and are prone to failures. With decent parts support it would be a fine truck to own, however I cannot recommend purchasing it. Parts support is extremely poor - currently many items out of stock, and if you do find what you need it'll be liable for a huge postage surplas and taxes. We purchased the trucks in the UK and were not aware of this. It's quite unrealistic to expect to pay 20 postage when you need a few parts that are 30 pence each. On top of this customer service has been appalling by simply wasting my time and not provided any relevant information. This is the first and last model I will attempt to run from HK. Am totally disappointed with the whole experience. Avoid.

could you please advise. i have a Nitro circus 1/16 basher , the first time the left side axle broke, the 2nd time around the gear transmission substandard plastic circular teeth like stuff inside got screwed up. what according to you would be the way to go to purchase a decent 4x4 with standard parts and reasonable money which would not cause a heartbreak ? i have already spent 400$ on 2 bashers ARR and RTR 1/16. where can i get spare parts for these the easiest and how do i go about repairing them ?

The truck itself is really cool. You have to be careful because of the extreme power. The servo isn't great but the motor and the esc are. Except of some parts the truck is also quiet durable. U-joints, Drive gear shaft, front and back drive shaft are a must to have in stock if you like fast starts. The steering spares are also nice to have and in the beginning I broke c-hubs and steering nuckles by drive straight into a wall. A problem I now have are bent wheel shafts. This all wouldn't be a problem because of the cheep price of the spares. If they would be available. Now its april 2015 and some of the parts mentioned above were not available this year. Because of the poor spare parts availability I can only rate it at three stars.

I found this to be really good car for the price....nice shielded gearbox from the elements, thick drive shafts, No overheating issues, the tires are really soft and very rubbery more than I expected. Susupection travel is good I took the advice of other reviews about the rear dog bones coming off....so before I even first tested it I added tiny O-Rings on the dog bone cups as I can see it seems the rear dog bones are just a tiny bit short and saw what others meant of them popping off. but with a simple quick alter that was never a problem for me, as for rest the truck seems perfect I love the wheelies it pulls never had a rc vehicle that does that. as far as off-road I only gone gravel and grass but so far handles really nice and takes jumps well and nothing broke i'm very impressed with this small package

Kam zwar schenll an und sah auch super aus, aber bei der 2. Akkuladung waren dann schon mal 3 Achsen irgendwo in der Wiese. Wenn man die Kommentare so liest bin ich wohl nicht der einzigste mit diesem Problem und nun gibt es auch CVDs die 2mm lnger sind, man hat damit aber weitere kosten von ca 25-27 USD und 2 Wochen oder lnger Lieferzeit da keine E-Teile im EU Lager vorhanden/erhaeltlich.
Schlechtes Design der Original Achsen, schlechterer Support um dieses Problem zu lsen und nach 3 Tagen hintereinander im Supportchat kann man leider keine bessere Bewertung geben

Das Auto hat ein super preis leistungs verhltniss.
Es ist sehr rubust gebaut und ideal fr den Skatepark.
Die teile sind gut verarbeitet.
Allerdings geht bei mir der LiPo cut off immer zu frh rein (bei ca. 45pcnt).
berschlge steckt das auto problemlos weg.
Ich wrde impfehlen die Mitnehmer vom Getriebe nochmal mit LocTite zu sichern und fest zu ziehen.

Fantastico.i miei amici se ne sono innamorati e ne hanno presi 4. Divertentissimo resistente e bello da vedere.ottimi i fanalini a led ma peccato che appena cappotta si spezza l'attacco (facilmente modificabile).
