This item is not wood, pressed paper, be careful, they break easily. I think the smell is from the laser cutting. Still a cute little toy, buy a couple of them so you can have a battle!

I bought a couple of these for the grand children, took about 10-15 mins to build. We did add a bit of glue here and there to add strength. They have had great fun with them firing Chocolate buttons to see if they could catch them. If you buy a few of these kits to make maximum use of postage they work out about 3.75 each inc postage to UK. It would be great if Hobbyking stocked some of these in the uk warehouse.

c'est finement decoup, mais la puissance de feu est tres reduite, cela est du a la taille de l'ensemble mais aussi a la puissance de l'elastique. le bois est de mauvais qualit, il se deteriore tres facilement. c'est un bois agglomer. le prix est trop elev pour la qualite des materiaux fournie. je suis assez decu du resultat

is finely cut, but the firepower is very reduced, it is the size of the catapult, but also has the power of elastic. wood is poor quality, it deteriorates very easily. it is not wood but particleboard. the price is too high for the quality of the materials provided. I'm pretty disappointed in the result
