Finished the build. This is a well made kit that goes together very well. Carbon wing spar is a good tight fit in the fuselage and wings, Stab spar required some fibreglass tape on the centre section to stop the slop. Some of the plywood components were broken or delaminated, easily fixed with some cyano. Covering is typical Chinese so it doesn't take much heat, wont shrink much and doesn't stick too well. That aside, the supplied hardware is good. In total this kit took me a week to assemble and I'm very particular about the building phase. The parts I've used are:- EMP 6364 230RPM/V 3200W Outrunner Motor, a mounting cage & 10mm Collet prop Adaptor. YEP 120A HV OPTO ESC & YEP 20A SBEC. 2 x Zippy 5S 4A 40C batteries in series. 4 x JR DS 8425 12kg Servos & 1 x BMS-860DMAX HS 24kg servo on rudder. I used a 'vertical rudder assist, 20-50cc' (C/F rudder tray & tiller). HD alloy servo arms 35mm long & Du-Bro monster 3mm Ball Links. XT90 series connector and battery connections. AeroStar 21"x10" electric wood prop. C/F 2.75" dia. spinner.

Just to add to the above reviews, the ready to fly weight has come out at 6.6kg, with C of G set at 150mm from the wing LE at the fuselage. All control surfaces are double bevelled allowing 60 degree deflection in both directions, perfect for 3D. Depending on flight times I have the option to change batteries to larger capacity as there is plenty of room in the forward fuselage area.

I was fortunate enough to pick this kit up on sale for $200.
Now that Aus Post don't deliver large kits, Hobby King is using Mainfreight as their carrier from the Australian warehouse. This kit cost me US $40 to ship it to Brisbane, Qld from the ACT, with a turnaround of one week. Kit arrived in good order. All the components shown above are in the kit, including C/F main & stab spars, C/F main gear & tail wheel assembly. Wheel pants and good size axils are supplied. Main wheels are a bit small. Most fixings are socket head. I intend to use a 3.2KW electric motor on 10S LiPo's spinning a 21" x 10" JXF wood prop. This is about the equivalent of a 40cc gas motor. Covering appears well done and is good quality. Fuselage is pretty heavy, hopefully that translates to robust. As usual HK is optimistic about flying weight, my guess is it will be more like 6.7kg ready to fly. (I hope so, as I don't want to get it heavy weight certified). So far it all looks pretty good. Definitely good value for what you get. I'll post more details once I finish it.

Ho acquistato questo modello e devo dire che visto il costo ho fatto un ottimo affare.A prima vista sembra un p fragile ma una volta ripassate tutte le incollature accessibili , ho rinforzato il castello motore con resina e fibra di vetro e sostituito le cerniere di fibra de kit con quelle a perno da 5 mm poi ho montato tutto il resto dell' Hardware che di buona qualit.Come motore ho montato il mio DA 50 con silenziatore tipo pitts e elica 23/8 servocomandi da 17 kg per alettoni e piani di coda e uno da 25 kg per la deriva.Visto il peso contenuto con il gas al 40pcntil modello rimane letteralmente "appeso" all'elica . Meno preciso il volo a coltello (ma questo dovuto al fatto che nel su 29 il piano di quota fuori asse rispetto alle ali) che comunque si pu sostenere facilmente con una piccola correzione con il comando di quota. La velocit di stallo molto bassa e comunque questo avviene sempre di "muso" e non d'ala. la livrea piuttosto semplice ma il modello bello da pilotare e anche da vedere in volo.Grazie hobby king!
