This is a excelent horn. I used this horn in the elevons of a Zagi, it is very reliable!!!

I have been using these control horn on all my 8 scratchbuilt foam. What I did was to place a layer of tape on both top and bottom side if the control surface and then place the control horn on the tape. This will reduce the problem where the foam compress and the horn becomes lose.

I am very pleased with these. They can be attached with either 2mm bolts or No2 self tapping screws. The clevis holes fit standard 1/16" metal clevises. I glued in a short section of K&S 1/16" brass tube to give a perfect fit with 1mm (0.039") wire. The holes are at 5, 9.5 and 14mm from the control surface. The end of the mounting shoe is just under 15mm from the line of the clevis holes.

These ones are similar to Dubro Micro horns. Very strong yet light weight. I am using it on my EPP planes.
