Ordered the 110V and got the 220V in the mail :( sad thing is that i waited forever just to get the wrong item. There were no external package markings indicating it was a 110V or 220V so that is where the problem lies. Its darn near a coin toss to get the right one if the packer does not know which is which. #Hobbyking fix this please #Honest Mistake I know #Fixable it is

This is a little beauty. Blows extremly hot. Melts stubborn locktite in no sweat at all. Shrink heat shrink very nicely and evently. Warning on side to say this is not a hair dryer... DON'T IGNORE IT. It will burn you very seriously.

also beware of freight cost goods weighted in at 1.3kgs stated on order $20 freight check my statement charged me $40 freight rang and emailed custommer service I get some bird who doesn,t know what shes talking about velly sorry ,, no reply to email. from custommer support and he me saying what a great service ,,like hell they have and I,ll post this on all the reviews I can then maybe they will answer

4 cm of heatshrink shrank well. Switched off gun. The fan turned off but not the heater. I quickly turned the unit back on and flames shot out the end. Now dead and nothing works. So for my $17.00 plus freight I got 10 seconds of use. Not worth returning.

Excellent gun for the price.. heats up very quickly. Simply cut off the plug & grab another from your local hardware store to suit your country.

Simple heat gun and it comes with an additional nozzle which is not shown in the picture. Comes in medium and high air flow with a flick on the switch. Could have been cheaper for the simplicity.
