Good quality and finish, runs very smoothly and didn't have vibration. very powerful on 4S batteries.I put mine in my Kyosho F-4, it's only 50mm replacing a 55mm Kyosho unit, but now the jet is much faster. To install it I just used 2 layers of 3m double sided foam mounting tape rather than the one layer Kyosho used to mount their 55mm unit.I put this in my Mini F-16 and what a difference. The original motor could barely get the plane off the ground and handling was sluggish. This EDF gives me unreal power and vertical climb. I was flying at 50pcnt most of the time because this thing makes the Mini F-16 FAST!!!. Going to 100pcnt throttle makes the plane turn into a rocket.
The EDF housing is solidly built and there is no distortion of the housing under full throttle. The fan blade is well balanced and the sound of this unit is surprisingly quiet considering the power it is generating. Amazing! Don't hesitate to buy this unit. I put it in my katana and it pulls really hard on 3 cells but I think its pulling to many amps for the stock esc on 4 so an upgrade may b necessary for max performance.This is a 50mm blade with a 55mm housing, so be sure you can fit it. They run fairly good on a 1000mah 4S 35C - you can fit them in the Skyangel Mirage, AMX, F-86, T-45 and works perfect in the A-4 - very quiet and fast. Very good edf, especially for the price.so good EDF blade.
Awesome 10 blade alloy edf have installed 2 of these in my SU-47 haven't flown it yet once i do will type a new review.For the quality is 5 stare across the board and value for money.I ordered this to fit it on a new glider I am building for my son. I will test it this weekend and will post the drawings and details on RC group ( if the result is good). -
