Introducing the Durafly Tundra, No Limits flying!

From the beginner pilot to the experienced flier this plane will do it all. The Tundra is an extremely versatile plane that is easy to fly and would make an ideal club trainer whilst still being highly entertaining for the experienced pilot with aerobatics and excellent vertical performance.

Whether it is flying from rough fields, water, snow or sand, the Tundra takes on all with ease. The Tundra has a wide flight envelope making it ideal for FPV flying, aerobatics, glider towing, candy dropping or just good old-fashioned super STOL slow flying,

The tough EPO foam construction is beautifully finished with a great look. Its lightweight design coupled with a powerful brushless set-up instantly gives you a feeling of confidence on the sticks as quickly as it puts a smile on your face.

This rugged and reliable plane can also get into those tight and hard to land places with its huge flaps and extreme STOL performance. The large main wheels make it easy to land just about anywhere. Swap out the wheels for the supplied floats and you'll be flying from lakes, streams and other waterways.

A quick change to the FPV canopy will give you more extreme fun flying. More excitement can be found utilizing the built-in tow fitting for towing your friend’s gliders to the best thermals. Our upgraded Tundra Sports Model also comes with new wing connectors to minimize build time and increase the portability of this RC plane.

Simply put the Tundra is an immense amount of fun to fly and you will be flying soon enough due to a very straightforward and speedy assembly process. Just add your own power plant and servos to give all the power you want.

Some neat optional extras are the addition of skis for fun on snow. Take on the very best mother nature can throw at you and still come up smiling. With the Tundra, there are no limits!

ho acquistato questo modello confidando sulle caratteristiche che lo proponevamo adatto per principianti. Purtroppo ho scoperto che è un modello molto reattivo e poco adatto per chi inizia. Altro aspetto critico è costituito dal carrello, troppo delicato per piste improvvisate es. prati non erbosi. Consiglio la versione PNP in definitiva più conveniente e ovviamente per piloti esperti.

As usual Hobby King do not supply enough machine screws or self tappers -- most inconvenient when ones own stock lacks the correct sizes.

Bought on sale and a great bargain it was. Easy build with the exception of the motor x mount. Since HK did not have these in stock I had to modify another one to mount the motor. Looks good, flies even better.

Landing gear wire too soft. Springs too weak. Wheels come apart.

The build was pretty simple and straightforward .Any problems with the build are addressed in the RCGroups tundra forum . i Finally got a maiden on it on the weekend.
This is a wonderful flyer nice and stress free flying .Two of the club members want me to order 2 tundras for them .

Delivery great Its a big box but well packaged so no problems there, with the (ARF) Kit it says you need motor, electrics, and a prop which l ordered but you do get the carbon prop in the kit, fitout is easy but take your time, rear servos not much room for big hands but once all done and centered go fly its a dream.
