Continuing the review:
For those who haven't flown I calculated CG between 5.4-7.8cm from leading edge at wing tip (25-33pcntMAC). For the maiden flight I balanced at 6cm (2.36in) and it is a little nose heavy (requires a little down elevator when inverted) but perfect for the first flights. I'm moving the batteries aft a little bit every flight. I recommend everyone to start at 6cm (2.36in) and adjust to your preference.
After six flights (in gust winds) my perception is:
- required a lot of aileron trim which is most likely due to the big warp in the ailerons (easily visible) or in the wings (hard to see).
- huge amount of positive roll coupling on knife edge flight. Required a LOT of mix to compensate. A little negative pitch coupling also.
- when performing a wall from high speed the plane rolls quickly to right (almost 360). I will correct the little lateral unbalance but I doubt it will fix this huge amount of turn.
- significant wing rock on upright harrier even with the SFG. It may improve as I move the CG aft.
- rudder and elevator are warped which contributes to the trimming issues

control surfaces are nice size plane looks great seems to be well built. plane is a bit heavy, but no more so than my epo 52" fms sbach 342. this is my first balsa plane, very happy with my purchase of this model. think im make it a bit heaver by steppin up to a g60. plane has plenty of power runnin a g46 670kv. I just like more power what else I need to say buy the plane

The kit is really worth the price but has a few minors:
- covering scheme looks cool but is trimmed really bad. The worst part is the wing trailing edge as there is zero overlap which means you can see the wood. You`ll have to spend some time ironing the whole plane.
- engine mount required extending the holes a little bit to install a NTM 4248 but no big deal.
- worst issue: the ailerons extend to the entire wingspan which means that if you glue them aligned with the wingtip (as I did), they will bind with the fuselage as there is no clearance. Since the trailing edge is tapered the ailerons bind as they are deflected up or down. I had to cut both and re-glue 5mmout. Fortunately the SFG help cover the projected ailerons tips.
I'll post an update after first flight

Nice plane ~
But bad rud it is not suit to the block

Hey guys.
The instructions supplied with this model are very poor.
(Has anybody got any more detailed or has anybody produced a how to?)
It looks good and the build seems ok not finished building it yet though due to the poor instructions' I will post again when I get it in the air.

Es un tablas muy divertido, lo he motorizado con un os 50sx, previa adaptacin de la bancada.
Vuela muy bien,sobre todo la trazada es muy buena para ser un tablas. La nica pega es que las transmisiones que trae no entran en los quik link, una pena, porque por lo demas es un avin excelente.

Mines all finished and flies great. G46 550kv with 14x7 prop and 5000 4s. A few minor niggles with the build but as this plane is meant for pilots with experience, I guess you'd have built a few ARFs before so there won't be any problems. Hardware is reasonable but there are things like the pushrods are wrong for the clevis's supplied. Was also missing one CA hinge for the rudder but again most people buying this kit will have spares. Instructions on the supplied CD are bearly adequate and don't even show the CG point. Overall a really nice plane, looks awesome and flies well.

Value for money is good

Very nice build except for little issue on the one I recieved - both wings had 40mm blind nuts to hold the wing halves together, one side requires the blind nut removed to allow the wing to be joined.



Also the engine mount wont accept any thing larger than a 42 size motor without serious modification. There is also a conflic between the supplied instruction(CD) and recomemnded motor size - Manual 28 size HK Site 42 to 50.



also go over the pin stripping with nail polish to lock it down the pinstripes come unattached otherwise.



Appart from the afore mentioned issues it is a very nice kit
