Deze 3D YAK54 Composite vliegtuig is mooi, echt leuk!
Een volledig gegoten romp geeft het vliegtuig grote vorm en de vorm maar ook als het licht, dit kan niet alleen worden bereikt met balsa. De YAK54 is prachtig geschilderd en voorzien van lichtmetalen landingsgestel, staartwiel en het wiel spats.

Oorspronkelijk ontworpen voor 0,46 gloed motoren, kan de YAK54 een soortgelijk elektrische installatie zonder aanpassing en het gebruik van de luifel als een batterij luik.

Een geschikte motor voor dit geweldige 3D-vliegtuig zou ons G46-670 of outrunner met gelijkaardige afmetingen.

Es necesario reforzar la cola, ya que he visto como se partia en dos modelos, es necesario colocar una tira de fibra de carbono y unos tirantes hasta el timon, tambien viene bien reforzar con un poco de fibra la base donde atornilla el tren de aterrizaje, es muy debil y al minimo aterrizaje un poco brusco, se parte el fuselaje.

Not the best paint job in the world, Mine if you look close it has lots of paint cracks and it's never been flown. It's almost like the paint isn't flexable enough for the fiberglass, I'm wondering what it's going to look like in a couple months.

today made its maiden flight.i put the 15cc gas engine from hobby king.standar metal gear servo hobby king.1 pack 4.8v nimh for reciver and a 7,4 v 2200 mah with bec 5v for the ignition. the plane needs another 350 grams weight forward. In air was very stable at slow speed.in 3d just perfect. The landing was very easy.

Running ASP52 2stroke and 12X6 prop, underpowered will change to a 11X6 prop to try and get the revs up.



I had the rear stabilizer break on both sides of the fuselage, the balsa frame where the elevator hinges glue to tore apart on one side and the 2 main balsa stick frames on the other side of the plane snapped 5 minutes into the maiden flight.



I added approx 100g of lead to front of the plane to get CG 85mm back from LE, this balanced perfect. The plane has a good roll rate and flys great can easily pull the power off and glide in for landing.



Quality of the overall plane is very good (apart from the rear stabiliser being too weak).



Will post some build pics soon.

Got mine today nicely made and good quality. Waiting for a good day to fly it, just nearly finished building it, using a O.S .46 with a Turngy 11/7 wooden prop

Hi , I bought this one and found the bulid quality excelent , although I changed the wheels (the original were too small) I found the CG to be spot on but I had to load over 200 grams of lead in the cowling (nose)and Im using 5c 5,000 mah turnigy akku to get the balance right , The First flight was super although the hohen ruder was a bit severe
you need a long long airfield for this one and DONT try to land it slowly because of the weight it falls like a wet sack of cement .I used the G 46 motor and it performed suoer . Fazit. Super build, a bit on the heavy side and stricty not for beginners way too fast , in the air flys very direckt ...have fun ..
