With this Micro SU-27, you get a lot of fun in a small package, great for indoor flying or outside on a calm or windy day. The SU-27 is packed full of features such as a FrSky compatible receiver and ESC, super-sensitive 6 axis gyro with self-leveling function, attitude and voltage sensor, 2 x 2g micro servos, and an 1103 8200kV brushless motor with propeller. The gyro has 3 mode settings available, self-leveling, stabilized, and off so that you can fly the SU-27 according to your abilities.

It comes out of the box just about completely ready-made (see note below) and ready to bind to a FrSky compatible transmitter, it is made of tough but lightweight PP foam with a carbon strip reinforcement. It also comes very nicely finished in an eye-catching color scheme and due to the 6 axis gyro, it is suitable for beginners as well as seasoned flyers. All you need apart from a suitable FrSky transmitter is a 7.4V 150~180mAh 25~30C LiPo battery. You will then be required to bind the receiver to the transmitter and go through the gyro set-up procedure, once this is done you will be ready to fly. Despite its small size, it is very stable in the air and once you have gained experience with it you can fly it in a moderate breeze.

Note: It is ready-made but you are required to glue into place the 2 vertical fins and screw the 2 elevons directly to the servo units. These have been left off to avoid them getting damaged in the box when being shipped.

I got just for the electronics but have flown as is and like the performance.

I like the flight performance. I got the frsky version and wished I got the dsm version as it will auto calibrate the jyro.other than that I will fly as is and wait to get the guts out for a diy plane.

Because of bad assembling and gluing from factory I broke a servo. There is no spare to buy, nor the propeller. - Very disappointed.

An Absolute Blast!

This is one of the most fun planes you can get at any price. I often take it out at the end of the day and zip around a local golf course or soccer field, always puts a smile on my face.
No problem binding it to my FrSky DFT module (on Futaba 9CAP Tx), but as others have said, just use regular setup, not Elevon. Yeah, the instructions are marginal, but setup was not a problem. You do need the gyro function in order to fly it - use the Beginner mode and adjust the gyro sensitivity to your liking, or maybe Advanced mode. With gyro off, it's fairly uncontrollable, but that might be because it's a bit warped now after lots of fixes. Yes, it's easily repairable with foam glue.
The Turnigy 300mAh 2s LiPo works well, gives about 10 minute flights if you manage your power a bit. Get two and you'll get your daily fix of fun.
I might get another, for when this one is worn out.

Fun "jet" for in- / outdoor

Due to the 6 axis gyro stabilization, switchable to your desired extent, the SU-27 can be flown indoor (beware: it is rather fast!) and also outdoor in light wind conditions. Great fun!
Because of its minimal weight it withstands most crashes without major damage.

Vola molto meglio di quanto speravo, i servi sono a 5 fili, quindi in caso di rottura bisogna saper adattare quelli a tre fili, peccato non esista un manuale della ricevente per riprogrammarla e utilizzarla per un modello tradizionale, comunque fa piu' di quanto promesso.
C' è anche la regolazione del guadagno.

Didn't like the RX with my jumper tx!!!
Plane would be great with clone rx without stabilization.
Simple plane with regular servos and small 2s bl motor.
More props needed, finding them is pain in the ass.

The first plane I received had a damage to the flight controller, the motor did not speed up properly and stayed in stepper mode. HK replaced it fast and without fuss - great customer service.
Setting it and binding to my QX7 was not fun: the description said FrSky, but I only when binding with the D8 FrSky setting in the multimodule did I manage a bind. Set-up instruction in the manual says "use Elevon model in Tx", but you have to set up a normal plane, mixing is done in the on-board controller. After having found out, all went well. Can´t wait for the wind and rain to stop for the maiden flight.
