This ESC is crap. Smoked after 10 flights. I pulled under 20 A, and it did not get overheated. So this is just another chineese crap.

This ESC seems to come with the cutoff voltage set as default 3.0 volts. It really needs to be at 9 volts for a 3 cell poly? I can't imagine it resets itself when it reads the battery voltage? Anyway I reset mine to 9 volts.

Mine keeps breaking down under power causing the motor to turn slowly. (single phasing I suspect). Give the esc a couple of taps and away it goes again. Obviously a loose connection somewhere. Had it apart and under a magnifying lamp but cannot see any obvious bad solder joints. Went over it with a soldering iron as much as I dare on something so small. Didn't do much good as fault remains.

I only bought this because the 30A Turnigy Plush was on backorder. I think I'll wait for the Plush. So should you.

Not to be bought : die after a short burst (15")at 35 Amp.

The negatives comments of several users are all (and the soles ones) fully justified.

It became a little hot using a HXT 2730 1300kv outrunner, even when using 1/2 throttle. Despite this, it is very simple to program using th pc conector.

THis is a very tough ESC and is of good quality. ( A friend of mine was flying with drawing 52 amps and it survived. He shall remain nameless) YOU WILL NEED TO ADJUST THE CUT OFF VOLTAGE FROM 4.8 V(I think IT WAS) to at least 3 volts per lipo cell in whatever pack you are using, otherwise your lipos life will be much shortened. I think the default is for a 6cell nicad. IT does work fine without programming so you would not be aware of the problem. the issue has been reported to UH. A lot of the download info for the USB stick is irrelevent for the 36 amp ESC.

I had high hopes for this item, but was left disappointed. The ESC didn't work well with my 35-36 1300kv outrunner (from here). The motor ran, but it started with a very jerky motion.

I put it on the GWS A4 75mm EDF with 35 amp at full stick. This ESC was overheated after 2 min in flight and power cut off. It isn't worth its high pricetag when the cheap stuff here works better. I'll not buy this brand ESC anymore - wasting my time and $$$.
