This is a very nice little gadget. I used it few times as a data logger to check and compare batteries and brushless motors.

I like the feature of checking batteries down to cell voltage and bidirectional current meter.

Now the cons: The labels are hard to read. I bought a white fill stick and filled all the labels so I can read it.

The Tachometer is practically useless for Helis, because you have to measure it from below which is real dangerous.

It is bit pricey too.

This watt meter comes with the manual on a 'small' cd that I can't use in my drive, anyone know where I can download the user manual?

Thanks in advance,

Great product with many kind of measure. Easy to use. Freeware soft to view data logged is in english or german. Upgrade software allow you to upgrade your powerlog. Take care of the artificial light when you check RPM motor : prefer the light of the sun to do that!

Love it, love it, love it!! I use this all the time to measure my Lipos and use the logging feature to log my battery performance/condition every month. Very easy to use and setup. Menu system is very easy to understand and navigate through. I recommend to read the manual to understand how it works for the first few usages. The unit itself is of good quality and all leads and connectors are good to use. Solder your connectors and off you go. There is a semi English/German software available to read your logs and works very well and easy to install and setup.

This device works as advertised, however on the one I received the firmware was way out of date.

In fact a couple of the functions were not available in the menus. Get v108 firmware from http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1055820

and the upgrader software from http://www.jun-si.com/UploadFiles/Upgrader.rar

the update was easy and added the missing functions to my unit.

I do love this logger, its a little bigger, but lighter than my EagleTree eLogger V4.

It would be better if
- A cable for throttle logging was provided
- The RPM sensor was on wires, for postitioning in a suitable location
- The PWM Output power was provided from the deans connector (needs 5V connected to Temp Port)
- and the case was more sturdy, my case started seperating on day one.

But It does all the functions it says it does, so all in all a great device to have on hand.

Nice device, comes with the accessories to do all sorts of different measurements. There's active support by junsi for this product, so there'll probably be updated firmware available when you get it.

The brushless RPM monitor seems to use some of the same pins as the per-cell voltage measurement: not sure yet if this means you have to do one or the other or if you can still measure packs up to 5S at the same time as using one pin for the brushless motor probe.

Pity about the LogView software (a: it sucks, b: it's windows only), but the data transfer protocol's pretty simple so I'm dumping logs using Mac and Linux machines with software I wrote myself, then charting and analyzing it in spreadsheets or statistics software.

For those of you who know how to program, I use the hidapi library to access my device at vendor ID 0x0483 and product ID 0x5750. Start trying to read into a 64 byte or so buffer then hit transfer on the device. Log lines with my firmware version have no USB HID report code, and are 41 bytes long in the form (uint8 bytesInMsg, uint8 typeCode, uint32 loggingIntervalMs, uint8 state, int16 current, uint16 voltage, uint32 energy, int16[6] cellMillivoltages, uint16 rpm, int16 internalTempDegx10, int16[3] tempsDegx10, uint16 period, uint16 pulse). Multibyte values are little endian. The typeCode for these log lines is 0x11, or 0x10 if you're doing online logging. Some control lines are also included in the log: these have a typeCode of 0x20, followed by a
