fitted the 10.5 to my Tamiya M04EL (long wheel base 190mm width modified M-04) car with an X car 60a esc , superb combo , had to reduce the boost , timing and punch as it was a handful , i did find the large gap between the sensor input and motor wiring tabs to be a bit poor but covered it with a bit of blue tack as any dirt/moisture that makes its way into the sensor board could cause it to malfunction , even a bit of tape over the large gap will help , other than that one small omission its a great value ,very quick motor that only gets luke warm with the car running its largest gear at about 5:1 final reduction .

Excellent motor. Retrofited it on one of our Amewi Short Course.
In Combination with HK 80A ESC using the sensor option perfect throttle response, low heat.

Came with sensor wire. I wasn't too sure on how to solder the wires on, I had to put them on top of the tabs due to motor location. Cups would be, and are much better. It ran fine, as expected from a sensored motor with the esc having a low punch setting. Seems you can change the timing by removing the three screws and turning the front end as there are extra screw holes on the back. I've currently left it as standard, in the center. It's not fine adjustment, just one forward, one back.

I am using this motor in my Associated SC10 2wd and it works great. It definitely has enough torque and speed for this kind of car. I use a motor pinion with 24 teeth on it. The motor temperature also behaves very normal, about 40-60. I am driving on an outdoor clay track with a lot of jumps in south-germany, outdoor temperature was always about 25.

Put this in my TT-01 and felt it was about the right size for my kind of driving. For standard scale power sliding I turn the throttle down to 60pcnt and still have plenty speed. At 100pcnt my car was gonna take off unless it had a very smooth speedway. Looks great too.
