Bought two thinking that it will serve the purpose but the quality is too bad, after two hours the crystal screen went out and no more can take the readings.

A very nice little meter.
It's small and light, so you can hook it up to your power system and let it onboard without problem.
The switch is very small, so you can't hit it accidentally.
I soldered XT60 connectors to the leads and I use it to calibrate the Power modules for APM/Pixhawk flight controllers.

the selection button boke first time i used it. It only reads voltage now. I can't get it to switch to amps. Just unlucky or cheap crap, you decide!

Not happy at all. This was going into a purpose built discharge circuit for batteries. The "switch" is missing! The slot and the name is there but no switch. It shows battery voltage but I can't check discharge amounts and that's what I wanted it for. To send it back would cost 3/4 what I paid for it. Therefore it goes in the trash. Lesson learned.

For the short period of time it's display was legible, it worked as expected. The build quality is pretty mediocre in that the "case" is a plastic sleeve with nothing holding the board from moving around aside from the buttons and it was only used 4-5 times before the LCD display started failing, leaving you guessing whether you were looking at a "0" or was it a "6" or maybe an "8", since several segments were no longer responding.

I have bought lots of bits of hardware from Hobby King , and I recently bought this power meter, unfortunately although the readings ( Volts and Amps ) are accurate enough the build quality of the product is of terrible quality .
First there is a tiny little micro switch ( not shown in the photo ) at the top of the casing to change between displays of either Volts or Amps so it can not display both at the same time .
Secondly the switch broke off completely in the second day of usage, rendering the device to a useless state.
This is to date the worst quality and build piece of hardware I have ever bought from Hobby King.
I know it cost only 7 o 8 euros , but you will be better off spending it in another type of power meterotherwise you will be throwing your money away.

great bit of kit, gives you all the info you want and saves the peak readings so you can analyse after the motor has stopped, add your own coonectors, none supplied

This is a must have in the tool box! It has pre-stripped wire ends prepped with solder. Soldering your own plugs is quick and easy. a small switch on the side of the meter allows you to switch between voltage, current and watts. super easy to use and you will instantly know if your harming your battery by drawing to many amps with any given prop. It could pay for itself the very first time you use it!
