I noticed with a 3S (2000maH): only 7700 rpm with a 10.5X6 propeller and 9200 rpm with a 9x6 propeller. It look like more a 900 kV motor rather than a 1140 kV. Maybe you can get higher rpm with smaller propeller

Great little motor,I have this motor on a scratch built Al Eastman Ampmeister 900mm wing span 500gm AUW with 30a SS Hobby King ESC and 3s 2200mah Turnigy lipo APC 9*6 apc prop.I've run small amount of thin cyano between outer can and magnets and a very thin smear of epoxy on windings and oil bearings lightly. Motor has lasted 2 years with a total of approx 500 hard flights unlimited vertical performance.

I have had this motor running flawlessly for 2 years in an Ampmeister 800mm wingspan using 9*6 prop ,40a Hobby King ESC with Zippy 1500mAh 30c ,340W of awesomeness with vertical performance.

I use it with Phoenix Magic with 11x5.5 APC prop and Turnigy Nano-tech 1600 mah 25-50c.Item isnt arrived to me yet.I will write my comment which is about this motors performance

I see mixed reviews on this motor ,I paired mine up with a turnigy 40 amp speedie and 2250 3 s lipo with 10x 6 folding prop ,but burnt out at 50% throttle on test ,was drawing 33 amps! not happy !Other people have run exact combination with no problem?

I use it on a Flitework Edge (RedBull Design) with 11x7 APC Prop, Mystery 30A Controller and Rhino 1350 3s packs. Draws around 23 Amps on full throttle (around 330W) and goes unlimited vertical with the ~700g model.

Put this motor on the GWS Me-109. Just fits and balances the plane out perfectly with an 1800Mah battery and a 40amp Mystery speed controller. A 10x4.7 prop seemed to work fine pulling 32amps at 330 Watts but motor and speed contoller got very hot. I'm now running with a 9x6 prop with 28amps and 288watts. pulls straight verical and runs great.

Running with an 11-7 prop with no problems. I've got a dozen flights on it. Runs very quiet. Very satisfied.
