182 18A Brushless LuxeVersie

Deze kit zal u ongeveer 10-15 minuten in beslag. Het komt met een 25A borstelloze snelheidsregelaar, outrunner motor en 4 x 9g servo's vooraf geïnstalleerd.

De 182 is gemaakt van dichte en extreem glad schuim. In tegenstelling tot de typische GWS soort foamies, deze kits schuim is glad genoeg om gloss-achtige verschijnen.

Met de toevoeging van werkende kleppen (Deluxe Version) de 182 maakt een perfecte instapmodel tot opleiding in het extra controle-oppervlak. Het roer servo is ook al vooraf gekoppeld aan het neuswiel, waardoor belasten fun!

Cessna lumiere first rc i bouhght

Hy . Escuse first my english but i think is good enought for the porpose.
I bought this aircraft and is the first rc model i by and fly . I can tell you what is good and what is not so good about this model.
After unboxing everithing ok.
The manual comes un cd witch also has a flight sim on it. I did not use it because i dont have a pc
The assemby is self explanatoory and realy not dificile at all. You will need to cut a piece of tale to allow elevator to move corect. You will also have to align elerons and flaps on wing. It is not difficult at all and if you like airplanes like i do you will find quite a plasure in preparing this aircraft for flight.
The electronic parts are cheep but they are doing they job very well
Because i never fly rc in my life you can immagine that first flight disaster....and the second and so on....
I learned how to takeoff and fly this aircraft and even after major repairs it keeps flying.
I am hapy i ordered also a arf version of this aircraft and i am hapy i did so. It is quite cheep and this way you can replace parts if you destroy it.
Now....what i do not like
On takeoff i sugest you to mix ruderr with elerons if you dont want it to flip over and hit the ground with the prop
Landings can be done only on tarmac...landing gear can not take grass or eny other terain.
Front landing gear sucs....realy this aircraft love only tarmac. Do not use it on something else or......landing equals repairs.
Overol thank you HobyKing for this aircraft..it was a wonderful present and i am happy with it. Now i have to make another one flight worty because the first one disasembled in flight.....to much repairs and the wing can not take that much. Thank you and if you are looking to by this aircraft do not esitate..for the money you pay you take more that you think. Thank you .

Living with LA 182 after 6 months use as a trainer

Bought this as cheap trainer for my 9 year old son several months ago. Overall the EPO has an excellent finish and has proved itself durable. As mentioned by others some of the fittings are only fit for the price point, but I bought this with some modifications planned before use, expecting to have pull some G's recovering from a beginners flight errors. I was not happy with the 'pimples' for holding the front of the wing, so before joining the wings I fashioned a ply hook to locate snugly under the front bulkhead which was reinforced with a 1/32" ply skin to spread the load. Again anticipating some extreme maneuvers I reinforced all flight surface with carbon rods after cutting slots for the rods. As mentioned by other you do need to cut through the foam to affix the horizontal tail. Do so by making a single cut at the rear apply glue to the tail seating area and GENTLY easing the foam upwards to slide the tail into place and then glue your cut shut.
Do note contact or epoxy does not adhere to this foam well, use Gorilla Glue, sticks like the proverbial to an army blanket!
Balance was an issue, not helped by my addition of carbon in the tail feathers. Even with shoe horning a 3S 3000mAh into the battery bay by cutting away the plastic and foam where the wires need to locate, 1.5oz fishing weight was required to balance. Also when modding the battery bay, slots were cut for a velcro strap as the hatch will not hold the battery. (like review below I found the current draw a little high for 2200mAh batteries which were getting a little hot and puffed after a 5 minute flight).
First flights were wild - on take off the plane pitched violently up and to the right, yet glided perfectly when I chopped the throttle proving the thrust line was incorrect. This was corrected with 2 washers between motor and mount on both starboard motor bolts and the same for the motor mount to bulkhead upper bolts. The nose wheel was replaced for a .40 size trainer item after a hard landing broke the wheel mount. I have kept the original main wheel wires for their shock absorbing abilities.
For training I keep full available throws on all surfaces on my master Tx, and around 60% on the slave Tx. Even at reduced throws it is nimble and moderately aerobatic, and full throws allow me to recover from any errors made, even 60 degree full throttle inverted dives at 20 foot can be recovered. It is as aerobatic as a Wot4 Foam-e, albeit slower, swapping to a 4s power train is possibly on the cards when my son becomes competent enough to handle the power.
I do enjoy and would recommend this plane, but treat it a kit+ to make some improvements to. Over six months of trainer flying has proved to be a durable and competent trainer after the above mods, enjoy!

Airframe is good and reasonably tough, badly put together however, flaps out of line with the wing, ailerons similarly misaligned.



Worst part: ESC failed on the first flight, cutting the throttle after 2 minutes on a 3s 2200. Looked inside and the ESC had burned the foam causing it to pop out.



CHEAP, you get what you pay for. Expect to put some time into this model to make it airworthy, and don't rely on the stock electronics.

This is a very poor made and checked product! even the quality control is a failure.

this is not ready to run as you will need to make alterations just to get the tail on and glue a few things like the rudder / tail.

the idea is good but i ddid not get a good model the esc just beeped and then nothing and all the fittings ? well lets say no customer srvice would stand for this quality botch!

Great airplane the main wing controls have plastic hinges and where wing bolts on main fus it's is plastic plate for a good strong mount the horizontal and vertical tail are made from epo and everything else is made from epo

Nice plane on the picture and my guess is that, if, you get one put together by someone at the factory who actually cares about their work and the finished model goes to a quality controller who can see,,,then you're in for a treat..unfortunately! The control surfaces on the wings don't actually line up, the flaps are hinged out of line with the main wing, it looks as of they come from a different plane. The elevator slot in the main body needs a little re-modelling. That said, for the price you are getting a fair plane and with a little bit of work, you can get this plane looking reasonable and I'll find out tomorrow whether or not it flies.

This is a great, and cheap, trainer. It was easy to assemble but needed some tweaking to get it in the air. I don't believe the aileron or flap servos were centered in the factory before the arms were attached and servos connected to the plane. Ailerons would only work in one direction so I had to remove the servo and correct that issue. Not a huge deal, but the way the servo is mounted it was a bit of a pain. The pushrod to one of the ailerons was too short not allowing it to go up far enough when in the outer most hole of the horn which is how it comes. I moved both sides to the lowest hole in the horns to get enough deflection which corrected that. The flap servo was hitting the foam on the fuse so I had to trim that, the horns were hitting the wings so I trimmed more foam there, and the linkage was adjusted to allow the flaps to go up instead of down so had to correct that. Once those issues were corrected it was ready for the sky. It flies well and is easy to control. flaps work great on the middle setting, haven't needed them all the way down but I imagine they'd work even better. My biggest compaint about this plane is the battery door being on the bottom. It's not that big of a deal, but would be much easier if it were on top. It also has two nylon bolts that hold the main wing on. Id prefer something a little better than nylon bolts as these will not last if you pull the wing off a lot. You should also be warned, you will have to cut part of the plane

Build quality is not that amazing but for the price i can't grumble too much. you do however have to cut out part of the fuselage at the rear to fit the elevator.

this plane is incredable, it went together well with only the minor issues. it is excellent as a trainer and does stunts like a war bird. the price is what i would of paid in the 80s. i like this plane so much i bought 3 of them!

Not a beginners plane. Very fast and hard to land. Landing gear is very fragile and will bend after a couple of hard landings. I went from a bixler 2 to this aircraft and it was very different in terms of controllability. The bixler is very smooth and neutralises when the stick is back in the center, but in this aircraft there is 1 servo for the ailerons. this creates alot of play so is hard to keep straight and level. when the plane arrived, the ESC was not working, but i had a spare so was OK with that. I really do like the aircraft because its a challenge to fly and that will only make me more confident flying something even faster after this. I recommend this plane to anyone that plans to do aerobatics. And just remember, to land this plane, keep it fast and with 1/8 throttle.
