The above is not quite true, the rod is 1.7mm but it is a rolled thread. The thread itself is a perfect M2 i.e. M2 nuts fit perfectly. However the majority of clevises and ball joints are not made for M2 threads but for M2 bar with a rolled thread on it which is actually 2.2 mm. If you want ball joints to fit these then you need 017000162 or an equivalent, they fit oerfectly.

Quick note: these are 1.7mm and not true 2.0mm. M2 nuts will fit but if like me you intend to use them as propeller shaft (for a micro boat) or as pivot pins in 2mm bushings or bearings they're going to be a little loose.

Aside from that, stainless steel as advertised, normal thread on one end, reverse thread on the other end. Quality gets only 3 stars because of the dimension issue.
