The Micro Engineering heavy duty rail cutting tool gives excellent results when cutting a variety of parts such as rail, wire or white metal castings. Because of the flush cutting edges it produces a clean, flush cut on one side and the other side of the cut only requires a minimum of cleaning up. The rail cutter is very strong but should only be used with plastics, soft metal alloys such as nickel silver, copper, brass, aluminum and white metal. Never use them for cutting steel or other hard alloys as this could break or chip them.
