HobbyKing ABS Premium 3D printing filaments set the new gold standard in ABS filament. It's superior layer bonding, high printability and smooth finish make it the filament to use to build big tough functional prototypes or production parts.

ABS is a fantastic plastic for mechanical real world use prints where a durable item is required. It has some give under stress making it perfect for multirotor frames and gears. ABS also has a higher melting point making it more suitable for some applications.

For printing with ABS it is recommended to have a heated print bed or Kapton Tape for proper bed adhesion. ABS can also have a slight odor when printing so a well ventilated room is recommended, please note that it has no odor when the print is finished.

ABS is slightly harder to get dialed in unlike PLA, but once set up the printing is consistent and the prints are truly real world useable. Other popular uses for this material are R/C spare parts, building blocks and toys for the kids.

works, but need higher temps

I printed a heattower (280°->235°) and it was fully printed, but you need min 260° for good results, i choose 270° for my prints and it looks good.

Clogs extruder, prints bad

I've printed so many brands , including HK, but had issues with this particular filament. It doesn't extrude at 250ºC. At 260, it has medium quality and layer delamination. No issue with other filaments. I do not recommend this.

I bought 2 rolls of this. Doesn't extrude at all at 250. Extrudes with medium quality at 260. Recommended temperatures are 235-255. I have tried a bunch of brands, including HK. This is the first roll I have issues with.
