These are a great set for the Sabertooth. If you are after softer springs, yellow is your selection here. If for some reason you've broken/lost the original springs then the black is the replacement you need from this set. If you are after a more stiff ride with firmer suspension then go for the red set. All theseare in a pack

Very good option

I'm using the red on my sabertooth

i'm happy

But maybe HK must sell only the red alone, no?

Red springs are a great swap since the stock springs are way to soft and cause bottoming on braking and small jumps.

Did a rough measure of spring rate:
Yellow (little softer) - 15mm/kg,
Black (stock) - 13mm/kg,
Red (hard) - 8mm/kg.

I find that the red springs are a good match for all-around driving (racing & jumping).
As a stronger alternative I've tried optional back shock springs but they are only a little but longer so you just add little preload. I also tried the optional Nitro Circus shock springs as they are the same dimensions as Sabertooth back springs but use thicker wire, but even the softer yellow springs fully extend the shocks when loaded so I wouldn't recommend that for racing (great for jumping).

Nice set of springs. I didnt measure the force required to compress them but you can tell the difference by squeezing them with your fingers. Now I just need to get the back ones when they are in stock! Hint... hintHK!

Saber tooth has very soft shock spring you couldnt make jump with stock spring you must have this option spring
