Gewoon omdat je je lego en Erector sets kunnen zijn ontgroeid, betekent niet het plezier moet stoppen. De invoering van RotorBits, de modulaire constructie set van eindeloze mogelijkheden. Gebaseerd op het idee van gestandaardiseerde aansluitingen en afmetingen, de enige grens aan wat kan worden gebouwd is je eigen fantasie.

De RotorBits Tri-Copter is een ingenieuze aanpassing van de RotorBits modulaire delen, om een unieke simplistische kijk op de zeer geliefde en grote vliegende tri-helikopter te creëren. Eén van de unieke Bits die in de Tri-helikopter, is het tandwiel mazen kantelmechanisme. Het kantelmechanisme neemt de eerder complexe motor tilt montage en vereenvoudigt het neer op slechts twee tandwielen en een servo. De modulaire tilt unit kan gewoon slip op elke RotorBits 10mm as. De felgekleurde TRI centrum plaat heeft 45x45mm geïntegreerde montage berichten voor de vlucht controller en diverse bepalingen voor de aanpassing van andere accessoires en bits. De landing skids hebben een zip-tie breakaway ontwerp en de maan lander afgeronde kop voeten voor gemalen skimming plezier. De simplistische modulaire idee maakt de montage in een handomdraai, waardoor plezier terug naar een soms meer dan complex idee.

RotorBits componenten kunnen worden uitgewisseld tussen meerdere projecten, zodat u kunt mixen en matchen om de inhoud van uw hart! Naarmate uw collectie Bits groeit en concepten ontwikkelen, zult u merken dat de mogelijkheden zijn eindeloos. Wie weet wat je zal komen met de volgende! What a fantastic product at a rock bottom price. Bought two (one being built and one for spares).
Goes together easily but did have to modify the servo mount slightly and a tiny amount of slop in the tilt mechanism was corrected by a small drop of glue. No big deal for both and at this price, it is still an absolute bargain.

Surprisingly heavy and there is a lot of slop in the servo connection. Most of the slop can be removed by gluing the components together though. Quite enjoying it so far.

The RotorBits Tricopter is simple yet elegant and easy to put together! It's like Lego for big kids and can easily be assembled with little knowledge in the area. I love the colour scheme and it is easily orientated in the air. The landing gear is sturdy and the zip-ties hold together really well. My only criticism (and the reason I gave the quality one less star) is because I had do some rectification the servo-tilt section and the gears. The servo they recommended/showed in the picture did not fit in the servo bay and the nylon gear was far too small for the gear teeth and it was hard to fix. I ended up super-gluing it and it managed. HobbyKing perhaps release a new version? Other than that I love it. And it is great value for money!

Got one of these in the mail today... Very robust and well designed kit.
Decided to order another one to build for night flying with some led light strips.
Pretty easy to put together.. I used the KK2.1 control board and setting it up was a breeze..
I assigned the autolevel to my landing gear switch so I could easily switch back and forth for acrobatic modes.
I used plush 18 amp esc.. DT 700 kv bell motors and an orange spektrum compatible receiver with satellite Corna 929 metal gear 9 gram servo for the yaw.
10x4.5 slowfly props (2 CW and 1 CCW) and get an easy ten minutes with 2200 mah Turnigy batteries.
I give it a hearty two thumbs up.. (ps.. I didn't use the screws and bolts per directions
I simply drilled a pilot hole and tapped it for the screws on one side.
Built a battery tray with 1.5 glass plate cut 1.25 x 7" and suspended it from the bottom with wire ties.

I have two rotorbits tricopters and they are excellent very tough. I would highly recommend them
great for general fun flying and they fly great with the KK2 and recommended motors. Thanks Hobbyling for a great bargain.

Please do not overlook this frame kit !! I have built and crashed more multirotor kits then I care to admit to. This is the best kit I ever built. The first time that everything fit to a perfect match and ended up being one of the strongest one I have. Very Perice fitting of all components . May be a bit heavy . I love it !!!!

Received my kit today. A bit disappointed as the carbon fiber rods that come with it don't have holes , so you have to either buy the jig set for it or drill the holes very carefull.

The kit is very neat and nice .It Seems to be strong enough to handle some crashes. But this I will find out soon.

Awesome kit. My first multirotor and I was impressed with its quality. My only gripe was the servo mechanism. The recommend led servos do not fit without alot of fiddling around. Otherwise im happy with it.
