The screw to remove pins is inside the hub hole.

Most of these work not all--for the price they work just fine for me--have drilled out the main landing gear holes out to 5mm to fit my 7Ib planes landing gear wires

I have a pair of these in a 1600mm P-47, a 1400mm FW190 and now a 1550mm P-51. They're robust, reliable and good value for money. Why spend more when you don't have to? Just make sure to balance the tension on the mount when you install it so it doesn't deform and affect the gear drive.

They work, but the plastic mountings broke very easily when my 7 pound plane bounced on the runway. The rods bent as well. Although touted for a "large" plane, I wouldn't use them on anything larger than a 4 pound plane. One of the design flaws to look out for is that you have to remove all four screws and pull out the retracts to secure the rod should it get loose - not true with other retracts. I gave them a try, but I wouldn't buy them again.

These retracts are great value for the price but get a couple of spares. The ones that do work are going to be reliable but the ones that don't work are going to be a headache. At the very least you'll have a couple to strip down for spare parts.
Overall good value for money but a bit of a crapshoot.
