Whenever I want a really strong glue joint, I use 30 minute epoxy. It insures adequate time to apply and position the parts. It is stronger than faster curing epoxy. The best 30 minute epoxy that I have found is this one supplied by Hobby King. Most other brands have resins that crystalize and become unusable.
