This main gear is a PITA!
It is damaged easiest - without "real" crash; it is much too weak.
Damaged it in both of my Solo Pro 100 3D I have bought from Hobbyking (everything else ok in the heli, flies very well). So I am grounded! No spares available. Blade mCP x gear will not fit, different diameter (19.5 mm mCP x to 20 mm SP 100 3D).
When will spares be available?
Will the poor quality main gear be changed?
There seems to be a second version of the Solo Pro 100 3D (not sold by HK), with CFK main axis (instead of metal) and the main gear not fixed with a screw - probably this is the newer, advanced version? Probably this gear will be stronger. Never had this problem in any of my Blade mCP x, it is a shame. Poor gears in the Solo Pro 180 3D, poor gears in the 100 3D. Whats up with Nine Eagles?
