The EDF mod I wrote about below. Well the twin 40mm edfs didn’t have enough grunt with 3cell and one shattered on 4cell. So I’ve fitted a 70mm edf above and behind where the prop goes and it flies really well on a 60C 3cell 2200mA. My favourite edf jet and my favourite prop jet. Easy to fly - a bit hard to see, needs bright colours. I’ve used water-based orange and red spray paint.

I agree that the hinges are paper thin. I’ve used a thin smear of silicone both sides to strengthen them. I added two more servos so the elevators can work independently of the ailerons, probably a bit of overkill really. Needs heaps of up elevator and a good strong hand launch from an experienced person. Once it’s up it’s a great flyer and glides amazingly for a jet. I’ve painted the wings and fins in red for better visibility as it disappears pretty quickly on full throttle and it’s easy to lose orientation. I’ve bought another one, this time a kit, and fitted two Dr Mad Thrust 40mm edfs, hoping it won’t be so loud, but the edfs are just as loud, however not so ear- piercing. Am yet to fly it!

The hinges are weak and I cut the elevons and ailerons off and added ca hinges. First flight I had one of the elevons come off during flight but had no trouble getting it down. Very fast especially when I put a park zone 480 2200kv, 7 inch prop, 60 amp esc and a 4 cell 2200 battery in it. Well over 100 mph but still has good slow flying capabilities. I like it a lot.

muí bien con este modelo para que vuele bien hai que ponerle motor 2700 MT y bariador de60 elice de6/4 Labateria 1400 con 40- C como mínimo y así queda centrado y vuela muí bien todo debe instalase atrás y queda centrado y los trines en la emisora queda centrados a cero

Recently purchased during free shipping from Aus warehouse
Good value for the cost but would recommend viewing Aussie Playground's youtube review before assembly as he has some great building tips along with 3s & 4s flight reviews
I wouldn't bother with 3s as it struggles for any decent speed
Running mine with funfighter 1950kv outrunner, turnigy 9g metal gear servos, 30amp (will upgrade to 40a) plush speedy and nanotech 2200 4s lipo using 6x4 prop
CG is roughly inline with centre of servos or 85mm back from where front edge of wing attaches to fuselage. Battery tray very crammed even with recommended mods.Tried maiden on 2200 3S and was very tail heavy with battery all the way forward, far better on 4s but I still feels slightly tail heavy and very twitchy
Will run on dual rates, 80% & 50% with 30% expo. Heaps of fun, extremely noisy and definitely twitchy on ailerons but I am sure will improve the more I fly her and continue trimming. I will add some bright colouring under the wings to help with visibility
Looks awesome in the air, comes in nice for landing, overall a fun purchase and would recommend
