I get the Sunbird from HK - inside there is the Assembly-Plan from ELERC - at this Side you can see, that this Model is the Older Version of itself.

Assembly Instructions on 4 DINA4 sides with 23 pictures, which show you the ready assembled pieces - you have to try to see what an how it is to build.

You get ALOT of plane for the money - but you wont be in doubt that its cheap when you build it!
The laser cut vary in quality alot, some are cut perfect, some are burned out and some are barely cut!
The wing is the real headache since the lacer cut pieces does not fit, and need modifications before you can assemble it.
I have completed my build and incorporated my own modifications - overall i am very happy with how it turned out

Easy build, but requires attention to details

Nice kit, got it today and 60% done in 6 hours. One must take his/her time in cutting the parts with an Xacto as the laser cut pieces are still attached in some area and you could break or split the balsa. Plans are terrible. Luckily I have 25+ years in building, but for a novice, get the coffee pot going and be patient, you will make mistakes, so trial fit the pieces twice before applying the glue. Parts are identified in the booklet with numbers, but are not on the balsa, so start matching and guessing. This kit should be a great flyer. Looking forward to the maiden :-)

There are a few errors in the wing design. I managed to work around. May be a challenge for a novice though. The instructions are the bare minimum. Not a single front view to show the dihedral. The web balsa sheet is cut the wrong way, fibres along. No big deal though as the wings seem stable. Haven't tested a bungee start though.
It does help to print the drawing in the file section. Use poster print on several sheets and stick them together. Cover with clear foil when working. A bit tricky to get the mirrored print for the left wing.
Once you managed all the building you'll be rewarded with a very well flying light glider. Mine (no motor) weighs 420g and thermals well.
Not perfect but good value for the price.

bonjour, recu mon colis en un temps record, commande le lundi soir recu le jeudi plateforme europe. kit bien arrive sans dommage le bois a l'air de bonne qualite le prix tout petit, je trouve les frais de port un peu cher sur le colis ecrit 2. kg apres avoir peser 560gr

I was very surprised/pleased with the quality of the wood and the laser cutting. The package arrived fast with included instructions. The instructions could be a bit better but with prior building experience, it should not be a problem. This has excited me because I'm relatively new to electrics and love them but I have to admit that I don't care for the foam stuff. This provides thebest of both worlds in a neatly packaged box.
I hope to see more kits offered in the future and start collecting them.
