great little motor for my kyosho hein very similar to the e flight 46 i use a12 7 wood prop works well

I've tested it on A123 6s, APC-E 12x6 and TowerPro 50A ESC in a Protech Summit 40.



It pulls 2700 grams static thrust at 41A. The motor just becomes warm with this setup after a normal flight.



I'm certainly satisfied with this motor, great for .40 size glow to electric conversions.



Tip: glue some sandpaper to the prop adaptor to achieve full prop fixation

Got one of this to convert my 30 size Hirobo UH1b to electric, run it on 6s and it provide more that enough power to lift my 3.8kg heli, good buy.

Running this motor on a 5 cell 4250mAh lipo, with an APC 12x6 prop. So far only did a workshop test, but the motor seems to be extremely powerfull. Cant wait to get it mounted in the 1.5 kg Kobra 20B I intended it for. Expect this model to be absolutely overpowered with this setup :-D

1000 watt versoin

I purchased the 1000 watt version last spring without a ship in mind, just was curious to see if it worked OK as it was hard to believe at that price, it was one of my first orders from UH. I finally found a ship I was willing to try it in about 2300g weight. I was expecting to run it on 5s, tryed it on 6s and 4s. This motor is HOT. I mean it really spins. 4s is plenty really on a ship this size. I fly it occasionally on 5s and it is almost too much. With a 13x8 APC prop I on 5s I am getting 1032 watts at 62 amps. The motor, ESC and battery do get warm. When I simply use a 4s all is cool. I use a 60/90 amp opto ESC from UH for $27.00 making this power set at just over $50.00. Put it in a ship you get cheap and you have a lot of fast fun for just a few bucks. I put mine in a POLE CAT, on 5s it runs over 100 mph.

I will say that the only trouble I had was the motor mount provided broke. I built up another with 1/4" aluminum, it is a strange size so I had to make my own. Other than that you cannot beat the value/performance.

Unfortunately the 1000 watt version is not available any longer. Interesting the motor weight is more on the 750 watt than the 850 watt.

if you need to replace the shaft on the 3520 6-7 order eflite # eflm40251 it is a perfect replacement just a couple of mm longer

i have both of these motors the 700k i run on a 5350 5cell flight power in a raider rated for a 46-60 gas it has unlimited vertical with a 13-8apce at 52amp wot static but put on a 11-7apce drawdrops down to 38 amps and flight times go up to 12-15 minutes i like to run the 13-8 and smoke the gas guys who say electrics are slow and the 11-7 for guys that say you dont get much flight time great motor
