I used this motor in my first electric helicopter (T-Rex 600 Clone)

This is my first electric helicopter. The motor and ESC (HobbyKing YEP 120A LV (2-6S) Brushless Speed Controller with Selectable SBEC) were suggested by the kit distributor. The motor comes with its own 3 solder-able connectors. I was able to enter all the programming and test the unit on the bench before installation. I've got more than 8 hours of air-time operation and the unit is running cool and strong. I recommend this unit, and I will be buying another for my next project.

Motor for HK550GT

This is same size as original BL600MX 1220KV and it is a good motor for the money. I use it on HK550GT and it has power for some 3D too. Looks well made... Time will show how fast it weares. So far so good.

Good for trex550 or trex600 on 6s

This is newer version, i had the older one before and it worked very well on my trex600 until one ball bearing broke...Motor has good power and it is efficent - more than 6 min of sport flying with 5000mah lipos on 2100RPM. Thats why i ordered new one... i can't complain, the price is low and for the money it works more than good enough - this time i will pay more attention to bearings and change them before they break and destroy the motor shaft :).

In a lightweight Uni/Heim Mechanik on 6S 5000mAh a great motor. 10min flighttime and perfekt power - very good power but not to much to kill the gear. Only on a YEP80A ESC, both only handwarm. Good work, good price

Hi guys, this motor really works great on a 600 size heli, lots of power and on 3D it keeps the revs nice and stable. You do get motors that are more efficient but then you have to pay 100$ plus. Running a 11 tooth pinion but thinking of going 14 tooth for more revs. Also the motor only just fits in the HK 600 heli. The T600 1450kv does NOT fit. All in all a nice motor you can't go wrong.
